I have a couple of the GWN7660ELR units. I have both of them running on the bench, and plan on mounting at least one outside soon. I also want to know how these ELR units perform in the field. I do plan on running the first one at least on fiber and then use the POE input for power. I did test this on the bench, I connected it to a GWN7811 switch via 1G fiber and then using the power out of a POE adapter just for power. I did not have anything to send 2.5G to the unit. I am looking forward to your results with the GWN7664ELR. Great Video, Thanks Willie.

The only devices that Grandstream has that will send 2.5 is the 6010-6011 or the 7002-7003. Their switches don't have Multigig. What i did was turned off the RJ45 for data, only used it to power the ap, but sent all the data @1g down the fiber link. Maybe the Future for GS will have a multigig SFP Caged switch. BiDi & Sm / MM transceivers work though.

YOU can select what port the traffic goes out, & once booted you can have the RJ45 port turn off data, unless you like broadcast storms with both ports connected...:)

I'm curious as to the radiation pattern? Is it omni-directional, or is it more front focused?
