I said before the draft that CC would get treated as bad by her own teammates as her competition. I think I was right. Last night she got the MJ treatment he got in his first All-Star game. They would not pass it to him. They are not setting screens or passing it to her. They do not run the court for her. The coaching staff needs to put in a different line up. Use this year to get rid of people through trades are firing. Next year have 8-10 new teammates. Caitlin has one teammate that will work with her. Her name is Celeste Taylor a rookie from OSU. She is athletic, can run the court and is a real good defender. Plus she is a spot up 3. Celeste has played 0 minutes in 2 games. She is the female sitting at the end of the bench. POS Sides.

There are lots of hateful comments online towards both CC and Angel on their looks, mostly coming from men. It's disgusting. I think i have seen more hate towards Angel though.
The problem is they should have glorified more rookies than just Catlin, maybe her a little more, but as was said, over 12.3 million people tuned in to see Catlin and Angel but people make it as if all 12.3 million tuned in to see Catlin. ESPN could capitalize on marketing Angel also, but to blunt, they figure they have enough black men and women on television, but what failed to Siad is yes Catlin got 2 million viewers on ESPN2 a national syndication but Angel got 2 million viewers on X a social media outlet. So tell me, who do people really want to see if they're breaking their neck to find an outlet to see a player? That's Angel Reese, but these broadcasters don't see that. People don't see that that. Here are some facts: CC drafted to the worst team in the league, Sides is wrong for her, Boston is out of shape, Wheeler is flat out adversarial toward CC on the court. CC looks sad, frustrated and appears to be losing weight on an already thin frame.
I fear that Clark is getting Blackballed this season by everyone, she is struggling too so that is not helping her situation. She was better off staying at the NCAA one more year for sure.

After seeing the first two games I don't think the Fever can win a signal game. They are pitmatic with a clueless coach. I'm not going to waste my time watching. CC window for long term improvement in the league is closing fast and will soon be back to the way it was.
The sad thing is if the wnba players didnt try to make this about race and werent chastising fans for cheering for Caitlin Clark then a lot of those players couldve easily won over a lot of those casual fans Caitlin brought in.
