I wouldn't say plenty. Audi D3 A8/S8 could have 6, 8, 10 or 12 cylinders depending on the market. The 8 still doesn't have much room, but the 6 does. The 10 and 12 fit in with non-euclidian physics.
@@robertisaar relatively speaking, of course. a v8 won't get you any easier access to the rearward cylinders on either bank (assuming we are talking a longitudinally mounted front engine setup) but it can make access to serpentine belt and other accessories easier, and can mean the difference between some jobs being engine out/a whole different world of difficulty.
I am imagining a CEO changing out alternator on his V8 Bentley and patting himself on the back for having chosen a V8 version for how roomy it is in the engine bay ;)

ANY Porsche 981/991. These are basically the same car from the rear edge of the door forward, and have an outstanding repair record. I've had a '14 981 Cayman S PDK for six years now and the only thing I have done to it is to replace the tires. It has 71K miles, and Consumer Reports magazine says that these have Toyota like reliability. I paid $40k for it in 2018, and it's value today is still higher than that. The one NOT to buy is Tyler's off road 996......

I have a 1991 Ferrari Mondial T cabriolet and oh my word I love it, most of the time I can beat the crap out of it and I give my thanks to God for blessing me with such a gift, replacing the water pump that broke meant an engine out service that appear in the state of Maine cost me about $5000 plus the price of a water pump, a new timing belt et cetera but the particular person was not familiar with how to replace a Ferrari water pump so 300 miles later that water pump blew and I took it to a friend who graciously did an engine out service and properly installed yet another water pump, yet another timing belt and all that goes with them, $10,000 later and that’s cheap, it was back on the road but I have to say It’s a really fun car to drive and you really escape from the rest of the world when you’re in the driver’s seat, so in the end I say, it’s worth it. Can you believe that?

But that was right hand drive, dark blue interior. Each time it went for a service he said it cost a 1000 pounds (approx $1300). He used it for weddings.
The Ferrari 458 and 488 does not have the F1 transmission. They have a 7-speed double clutch transmission from Getrag. The F1 transmission is a manual transmission that has been automated.
What shocked me most as I leared more about exotic cars is how many people are leased, or financed up to their eyeballs in debt to pay for them. I always though if you had the funds to justify purchasing an exotic car you would be able to just pay cash.
Any cash transaction over $10k in folding notes MUST be reported (money laundering legislation) So no, $500k in folding WON"T get you one of these cars without a little "tip" to whoever takes the chance and "washes" the folding stuff....
The paradox of luxury items is that half the time they are bought by people who can afford them and enjoy the premium experience for what it is, and the other half of the time they are bought by the type of people who need to feel included in the 'wealthy crowd' even if they aren't actually wealthy.

That Maserati Levante is actually a realistic alternative to a new car. I was stunned to see the prices of new Camrys when I took my current ride to the Toyota dealer for scheduled service. $35,000 to $39,000 for a Camry???!!! And this is at a volume “one price” dealership that is finally selling below MSRP, albeit not by much, and finally without the dealer markup add-ons from the COVID era.
I think my next car will be the Levante, back when I got my 19 Chevy Blazer. I was looking at Levante, F pace, Jeep Grand Cherokee... There's a bunch of 21-23s Sports Levante going for under 40k w/30k mileage

cheap clunkers is way to go. however these days used clunkers prices are like 4 times high than 6 years ago. now cheap clunkers cost 5k to 10k, back then 2k to 6k. wages didnt inflate much since then. some people lost good pay jobs had to accept lower payijg jobs. so cars are alot less affordable now.
Best luxury car pretty much anyone can get is a town car its simple luxury though but for me its more than good enough I drive a 1988 lincoln town car its not the best but for me its my dream car and I love it how it rides and actually got it stuck a few times thanks to its solid rear axle no body damage occured plus it can actually tow.

Do NOT buy the Lexus LS460 especially from 2007-2009! They’re not near as good as the LS400 and 430.
