Truly appreciate this kind of video as it is helpful in making an informed decision. What I appreciate even more is being up front about brands asking you to do an ad and your honesty that you didn't care for a product. I have veryyyyyyy thin, flat hair with oily roots and I’ve found the the volumizers from AG Hair actually give me volume without a lot of greasy build up. The Foam Weightless Volumizer and the Bigwigg Root Volumizer are both great! I just recommend combing to distribute the product before blow drying.

that's so funny, I also hated the Kosas concealer but I LOVED the Tower 28. just goes to show how differently things work for each individual person!

The tower 28 concealer may not be hydrating but it does something that none of my other concealers do, which is cover my “hollows” under my eyes and I truly appreciate that. I appreciate it so much I am buying it in a lighter shade and I never do that. Love it!
I’m so glad to hear someone else didn’t like the color wow product! I thought I was the only one! It literally made my hair feel dirty and limp and I also did not care for the scent.

Hi Kait! I just learned about Twisted Lily and Luckyscent and ordered many vanilla samples from Luckyscent. Pleaseee smell these two if you haven’t, they were the two that stood out of me the most: Jousset Parfum Accident a la Vanille Extrait and Maison Mataha Escapade Gourmande (omg this one). I like a sweet but layered vanilla over a woody vanilla so if that’s you maybe you’ll like that! 💕

I tried the first Color Wow product that came out that influencers were practically orgasmic about and it was dreadful.
Kait have you tried Armani luminous silk concealer! I felt the same way about the kosas! The Armani is slightly less dewy than the saie! More of a glow than a dew and has more color options!

Not very relevant to the topic, and probably an unnecessary comment but I'd just like to point out that I love that you pronounce Mauve the way I've known to pronounce it since i began using make-up. The shade name has been around since I can remember, I'm 42 and no one ever pronounced it "mow-ve", not even well known makeup artists. All of a sudden a certain group of content creators decided we have been wrong all along, yeah I'm not jumping on that trend.
I had the same exact experience with that color wow product. They totally fooled me.

Did you try the Papier fragrance on your skin? I didn't like it at first when I smelled it, but it smells way better on the skin, as it wears, in my opinion! No white floral notes, mostly musk. Obviously, I get that it wears differently on everyone though. - B

I have a video (the one on the Allure awards) where I show the marigold shade of the Ami Cole eyeshadow being applied to my eyelids, and I feel that the product was very easily blendable and quite nice. So I think your product was just plain defective, rather than just mostly empty. That is too bad that happened and that they did not believe you when you first explained the problem to them, of course.
