I can't hear phasmaphobia without thinking about the game-
i did not know that lepidopterophobia was a thing, i always assumed i was just weird for feeling fear when dealing with butterflies and moths
I have that phobia as well and same had no idea it was a thing

I HATE centipedes. 😂
Ngl, that's me when I see a worm or a spider enytime I see a spider I scream and when I tell my friends I say " they have 10000th little eyes" when I tell them I'm scared of spiders
Nostalgia kicked in hard at the mention of goosebumps the haunted mask and now "join us Carly Beth" is playing on loop in my head. I watch the videos a lot as a kid
I love all the inktober series you do! I have claustrophobia from an experience and Im grateful you drew my fear and explained it❤
I love the detail of highlighting the phobias in gold! Showing how much of a grip certain phobias have on people
I was wondering if you would take requests for the phobias you paint, if so, could you do trypophobia? Its an extreme fear of mine and I would love to see it depicted.

I have masklophobia but only for Indonesian traditional masks. Those masks are just so scary & I am just scared whoever wears them is going to attack me when they put it on. And that kinda came true. Once we have a lesson about what the props in traditional dances symbolizes. We did a worksheet & the teacher graded it in our classroom & we got to play with the props (of no real value as they are just cheap replicas). My class mates saw how scared & they run up to me acting as if they want to attack me with that mask. This happened SEVERAL TIMES. The worst part is, everyone was like “These are not that scary! Don’t be scared!” I was like “Please finish grading it already!” Maybe they thought it would make my fear disappear but it just reinforces it.
I have Necroentomophobia, or the fear of dead insects. I'm completly fine with live ones though!
I also have Thalassophobia. Your drawing really caputured how it feels.

my mom has the phobia of snakes (i think) and i have the most harsh fear of spiders, which has probably developed into a phobia. couldnt sleep one time due to finding a spider on my leg. i love snakes tho

I absolutely loved watching this series and seeing your interperitations of the phobias, if you take requests, would you be able to do haphephobia? It's something I really struggle with and I'd really like to see it drawn!❤
Cool thing about the thanatophobia is that in Slavic folklore(and probably other cultures as well) a candle being blown out by Mara(the death goddess, also know as Moranna, or Marzanna) symbolizes death. When I see a candle, for some reason now(ever since I learned about Slavic mythology, and folklore) I think of that. Anyway, amazing series! If you ever do the folklore one or a mythology one, it would be cool I if you could include a Slavic one, but I understand if you can’t. Keep up the great work, can’t wait for this years “Inktober”!

Who here has/had one or more of these fears and if so which ones?
I’ll start: I had Botanophobia, I was afraid of Dandelions for the longest time and I have no idea why but a few years back I’ve mostly gotten over the fear but I refuse to go anywhere near the especially large dandelions
I have thalassophibia, a general fear of bugs and a phobia of loud noises
I have MelissaPhobia, the fear of bees, the fear of too-deep waters, (I swim, just water where I can't see the bottom) and The fear of feeling like I'm not enough.
Story(kinda): I bought a robotic spider to scare my dad!

I personally have acarophpbia and nyctophobia! Very fun to see them illustrated, although a bit unnerving. Also, suggestion if you do this again, haphephobia is an interesting phobia that I personally have.

I’ve got two, fear of needles and deer water my reasoning for the second one not seeing what’s there and that scares the living heck out of me

I definitely have phasmaphobia I hardly get any sleep because every little noise is causing me to be very anxious and I know logically that there are no ghosts in my apartment and that they likely aren't real. However, I grew up in an extremely religious household and also grew up beside a cemetery. And a lot of these beliefs are still subconsciously ingrained in my mind and like to wreak have a especially when I'm alone or in the dark
4:43 I’m shaking so much right now. Eyes are really scary. I can make eye contact but can’t put anything near/in my eyes. The thought of doing so makes me cry. I don’t know why I have this fear but it’s one of my biggest fears.
As someone who is just getting past my arachnophobia I also have coulrophobia which is the fear of clowns which happened when I was approximately 13 it was terrifying to say the least as for fasmophobia I was afraid of goes for a really long time but my mom always told me that they were people just like us and not to be afraid of them
Oh my gosh! This is so pretty!! Your technique is amazing and so is that inking! Would you be able to do the fear of stinging insects? I've never seen someone do that before!
The phasmophobia one was so accurate (i CANNOT be alone in a dark room, with somebody sure, but alone of hell no)
Edit: nyctophobia was good too (i have that also basically cant stay in a dark room and ngl my mind goes crazy when im in the dark)

I'd honestly love to see your representation of Astrophobia (think that's right) the fear of thunder or lightning. I have it and let me tell you when I hear thunder, my anxiety goes through the roof and I think that I can't find the main area of the loud sound makes it worse for me
A few years ago my dad went to Geogia where she saw on of the coffins. The tour guide said that less than 20% of the people in these coffins didn't survive.

I have Trypanophobia and you mentioning about how it can prevent necessary medical procedures made me feel very seen. I had brain cancer when I was five so my phobia stems from trauma and it has prevented me from getting some vaccines and, as of two years ago when I hit 10 years cancer free (yay me), I've stopped having MRIs and brain scans. I understand the risks and all that but I have a physical reaction to even thinking about it so I've decided to only go back if I think there is something wrong. Out of all of my phobias (I have a fuck tonne I'm scared of loads of things lol) I think trypanophobia is the worst :/

As someone who has a MAJOR fear of needles or anything long and sharp, I can testify that, yes, anything medical is like 50 times worse. I had my blood drawn last year and I cried the entire time…I’m 20

Bro, I’m scared of large birds-
(Yes, due to a very traumatic experience when I was five involving a rooster.)
I can’t stand to be anywhere close to a live turkey. It’s terrifying. I’m good with female chickens (hens) and anything smaller, but bigger then a hen makes me want to cry and scream. I’ve also developed a fear of pinecones. I have a severe allergy with pinecones. So that’s how that one started. Btw, I don’t like Christmas due to the pine trees. I’m scared of pinecones bro. I’m not sure if there’s a name for either of my fears, but yeah. Also scared of the dark. Though it’s due to a traumatic experience. All I’ll say is it involved Halloween, a knife, and a sweet trip to the hospital.
