@@FCMolde99 I feel confident in Cruz's chances this fight. Cejudos reach is way to short to reach Cruz too many times and when he fought Moraes he was breathing pretty hard. So if he misses slot when fighting Cruz's he'll be breathing even harder and that's when Cruz puts in work. Not too worried about Cejudos wrestling since this is a fight and not a wrestling match. If it was just Wrestling, yeah Cejudo wins. Bit Cruz just has to scramble and get some hits in to back Cejudo off then back to work on the feet.

The only way I see Cejudo winning is by wrestling or putting Cruz against the fence other wise it’s going to be a excruciating fight for cejudo. Cruz won’t let Henry get the chance to rush him like Dillashaw did. Like I said in my other comment Cruz is a fighter of exquisite footwork and head movement

Cejudo is definitely a good fighter though, just don't think he has enough tools to ko Cruz. If Garbrandt wasn't able to ko Cruz, Cejudo won't be able to either.
Henry's story of rising from poverty, having an alcoholic father who died at 44, resonated with me. Tremendous success story from nothing. Despite the cringe, I hope he wins.
He’ll get outclassed
Cruz is cut from the same cloth. He grew up in a similar fashion living with his mother under poor conditions and barely having shoes to wear.

One of the strangest fights ive ever seen. It's like everyone knew he didn't win but were tired of DJ with the belt so they just gave it away lol. DJ still dominates that division TILL THIS DAY!
@@josephnedrad6972I don't see how you guys think Mighty Mouse won that fight. Henry easily won at least 3 rounds and there were no 10-8 rounds for Mighty Mouse. Henry out boxed Mighty Mouse which will always impress the boxing judges more then leg kicks. Also if you say take downs don't count then you have to take away Mighty Mouse's win against Tim Elliot because the only reason he won that fight was because he was on top.
Mighty Mouse always use his great wrestling to control his opponents. You can't act like Henry being the one guy who could take him down and control him doesn't mean anything. It wasn't a striker vs wrestler situation. Mighty Mouse got a little taste of his own medicine with the take downs but Mighty Mouse is such a good wrestler he grandbied out of a few of them.

You know for Cruz to be knocked down so much with Injuries he truly is a specimen of mental toughness unlike any other. The list goes on of injuries and he keeps pushing, he could have hung up the gloves and called it quits YEARS ago and for their health most athletes would. He always comes back for better or for worse and that's worth so much respect man.

I love how they are polar opposites personality wise. Hearing dom talk about belts and winning and how he felt like he was nothing without it and how he had to find meaning in life that wasn't just championships and how cejudo seems to revolve his entire life around his medal and the belts. Dom detests that mindset and he had to break himself out of it... Cejudo is a physical embodiment of that mindset and Cruz will break him too.
