@Rimas5967 I was not catatonic. It was. However, before 2014 and Crimea, there was no pressure. Canada made a 2% promise in 2014 when Russia annexed it, our government reaffirming it in 2019 and then again promised to reach 2% after the Russian invasion of Feb 2022. So we can't compare then and now.

And then in the last 18 months or so ,the F 35s bought, along with P 8 Poseidons and MQ 9 Reapers , and a billion dollar OTH network to be built ,&sites been selected, as part of upgrades to Norad . and also new combat/engineer vehicles bought, being delivered now ,and as well new anti tank and anti air missiles for the Cdn troops in Latvia , leading the Nato battlegroup there.
