BIG TROUBLE - Brand New Motorhome

- We are in the beautiful town of Peniscola, Costa Dorada, Spain and we have an issue with our new Motorhome. We are travelling to France via the north of Spain so we will have to wait till we get back to Benidorm before we can get the issue sorted. We are staying on a paid Aire, we show you round and you can see some of our Motorhome vanlife and also some of the amazing place that is Northern Spain.

Hi Jo, the towns are really nice in this part of Spain. We tried looking but also couldn't find a video with the same problem but thanks for looking. I've got a few shirts to wear but honestly it's getting so hot, it's going to be comfort over style this week. Lol

The legs pall out from the awning and you have to push them back in before you can wind it away took me a few times
Yes, I am sure this we did. We've tried everything but the legs just won't stay in the metal case, they just keep pushing themselves back out.

@@paulandjoinspain well yeah.... wifey first went with her family in 1968 a 4 day drive in a ford anglia full of baked beans and luncheon meat lool. yes we love it we have a caravan there we go most years. cambrics is quite posh (rich people from Barcelona weekending) .... Salou is a bit like Benidorm without the high rise .... its all love in Catalonia .... about to go to north spain in the motorhome galicia etc is so cool (second holiday)

Guys, It is the TOPS of the legs that end up in the MIDDLE of the awning. THE TOPS of the legs SLIDE to the centre of the awning. The feet of the legs end up at the ENDS of the awning. It is all to do with SLIDING the top of the legs to the CENTRE of the awning
We will give it ago. From memory, ours didn't work like that but we will look at it later today and try what you said. Many thanks.

Enjoyed the video but not sure about walking the dog in that heat
We only take her out in the morning or the evening. Plus we would never leave her in the Motorhome because that would be to hot. 👍

I know what you are saying, we are mindful about her and we always carry water but we won't leave her in the Motorhome because it could get to hot.
I agree, far, far better to have her with you at all times and be able to watch over her.

The awning is still broken, will have to wait till we get back in a couple of months. Peniscola is really nice. We are now in Salou, that is beautiful at night. So many nice places to visit.

Back to dealer then let them show you we had are shower pump brake and went to the same dealer as you bought van from very helpful its to hot for us this time of year without ac
Planning to visit Cruz in a few months once we return. It is roasting but we have 2 good fans and most of the windows open and have been fine. However without shade and over 30c, it could be a different story.
I personally love olive's with cgili and garlic 😘

Carrying a dog in the front unrestrained is illegal in the UK
Hi, yes I bet it is. We are in Spain and our dog is always tethered to the floor of the van but thanks for your advice.

Tethering to floor is great,! it amazes me that people travel with a dog untethered in a vehicle
In an accident, that dog is just a missile and either gets mashed on the dash, or exits via the windscreen. Its horrid to see,

Do they have little feet at the ground end if so they also need folding away to stop them falling out

Great video lads fair play to ye just wondering if there any apps u could recommend for finding campsites and park ups have rented a motorhome in spain for September any recommendations would be greatly appreciated
Hi, yes the best one so far has been Park for Night. It's a free app and it's been brilliant. Mostly totally free park ups or places with services. The last one with water and a place to empty your grey and black waste for only 13 euros a night. 👍

Your poor dog sounds hot could you not leave it in your van with a fan on like other people do to warm for dogs
We are in a heatwave, it's hot in the van and outside the van. There's no way we could guarantee she would stay in view of the fan. We love her and always take water with us, We keep her in the shade and we are always testing the floor so it's not too hot. She is our prime concern. Thanks for your comment. There are a lot of irresponsible dog owners out there but you can be assured we are not one of them.
