I recently went to Wilderness at the Smokies and saw an awesome Murphy bed...😂....Something tells me you did too! Awesome build! Can't wait to see the finished product... IMO, I see your bed covers your outlet🧐, you may have enough cable and clearance to pull the outlet out from the wall and install it in the sideboard of the bed so you still have access to the outlet while the bed is closed. While you're messing with the power - you could add a low-profile light switch that powers an internal outlet at the top of the cabinet for lights... as a safety, you'll probably want a roller switch on the hinge that power off the top outlet when the bed is closed.🤷
