Did you think about how firefighters open and usually leave the door open? And when the door is closed the fire quickly EXTINGUISHED until the door was opened again. What happens to all the 3,000 toxic gases? The rooms get too rich to burn and also the flames byproduct is water and carbon dioxide until the doors and windows are opened again. there is a lot more going on with this fire than the instructor is telling
