  • what an amazing collaboration it took to accomplish this. Ford Motor Company led the way but was helped by hundreds of other groups. architects, art historians artists, skilled trades, engineers, community groups, urban explorers, and random people who were holding important pieces of this landmark building.
please plan a visit, you will be impressed.
    Detroit is back.

That's pretty sweet, though I thought the decayed building had a beauty all its own as well. I think it is near the Mexican village, because we saw it once going down there for a birthday celebration. (You couldn't go in of course) I especially like the clear ceiling with the industrial supports.

I wish Ford would Focus on Vehicles that people want instead of discontinuing models like the Edge so they can build EV,s that nobody wants

I was there pre-Amtrak. No passenger service. So until the government funds service to St. Louis, Cincinnati and beyond, what’s the point?

if you would have took the time to read up on the usage. It will be Fords Mobility Campus for their autos. That is the point.

How can they keep the thieves from stealing stuff from inside?

That’s why he said it was 1 billion dollars. Must have a few hundred million left over to repair theft.
Seriously seems ridiculous for the cost. Could build a new skyscraper for that money. Not the largest one, but likely biggest in the area.
