I installed another brand on my 900. I would like to give one piece of advice in addition to your method. Mark vertical in the throttle tube after you size the grip then remove the throttle tube from the control unit it goes into. Its only a few screws. Line up your grip with the vertical mark you made first. And then put the grip on like you did. I recommend the removal because i broke the electronics in the housing when i did mine. The plastic that holds the throttle tube to the electronics is SERIOUSLY WEEK PLASTIC. Then just put the tube with grip back and tighten the screws. I had to replace the entire right control. I also attached my grip to the accessory circuit under the left panel so its switched , i used a slingmod harness splitter but i guess it would depend on what grip you use but i haven’t had a problem . Hope that helps its a little more work but less than having to replace the entire throttle control.
Is that just CA glue or do i need to order something special to bond these grips? One person mentioned a rubber glue but idk i just don't wanna goof up the install on these lol.
Thank you so much for making this video. Going to install my Oxford grips next weekend on my Ryker.
You are going to love them! They are very user friendly. I love mine!
Thanks for this video - my Ryker came with these fitted but I want to remove them; really helpful information, much appreciated
That’s great that it was helpful! It is what it was meant for😁
Thank you!
You are welcome😁
Great Job
Thanks!

Yes I understand it can be touchy. No problems with install so far but you've made some good points. Thanks!
@@RideForAdventures unfortunately I wasn’t making videos when I installed mine.
Great upload. Is the ridge on the throttle plastic?
Hi Rob. Yes it is. The entire throttle sleeve is plastic.

The glue I used was part of the kit and came with it. It seemed like a form of crazy glue or super glue. Some use gorilla glue.
No problems with mine.
Oh great, I ordered the oxford evo touring version. Had no idea adhesive is to be included.
What was the glue
Comes with the kit
