Watching now. I love zero-go makeup transformation videos. Makeup is enhancement anyway. A person with a decent heart will still be decent with makeup, a sour one will still be sour. Can we take bets on how many "you look better without makeup" comments you're going to get? You're more brave for just keeping the comments section enabled, not for fear of meanness because it's unlikely that you'll get a terrible amount of jerk comments, but just embarrassing ones from lovesick boys. Keep up the quality videos!
Women should stop wearing make up! It makes the skin look worse, especially when I see all this junk put on their faces. It really makes me sad to see a face that has issues like acne is totally covered in make up. It's like a circle: you put on make up to cover it all up, the skin gets worse and so you keep putting more and more to cover more and more up. I mean, where's the end?? Just leave the skin be, let it breathe! The only things that I put on my skin are natural oils and shea butter.
LMAO at all the men in the comments telling you "if you were my girlfriend, I'd tell you not to wear makeup", or saying that makeup is "a lie", or telling you that you are too beautiful to worry about wearing "all that makeup". First of all, guys, she didn't say she thinks she's ugly without makeup, just that she feels it is brave for a woman to appear online without makeup covering skin imperfections, and I agree with her. But it is true that everybody looks better wearing makeup, especially on camera. That's why men who appear on camera professionally also wear makeup. It is also true that women are generally expected to wear some amount of makeup in everyday life to look "put together". We are socialized to ignore imperfections in a man's face and to nitpick them on a woman's face. It takes a lot of guts to appear without makeup if you are someone who normally wears it. Secondly, I would guarantee that if most of the men making such comments had not seen this tutorial, they would have thought she was just wearing some eyeliner in most of her videos. When they say "you shouldn't wear all that makeup" they really just mean the obvious makeup, like winged liner or bright lipstick. Anything that ruins the illusion that she is naturally flawless at all times like some kind of superhuman. I don't want to speak for her, but I am cringing at so many comments telling her she "doesn't need" makeup. A woman can think she is beautiful naturally and still enjoy wearing makeup. Thinking that makeup makes you look "better" or that admitting it makes you feel prettier does not mean you hate your natural looks.
I needed this comment to be honest. I'm a guy but the amount of bootlicking or hypocrisy is huge. They all act like the make-up is unnecessary and all when she invested so many hours and so much money in it. And to be honest it does transform her.

Whilst making a good point on the beauty standards set upon women nowadays, you hypocritically made a foolish statement basically saying men don’t have the same issue, which is totally untrue. Men are also judged, but the difference is, most of the time we take it on the chin. We don’t have the advantage of makeup considering it isn’t widely acceptable across the world as the social norms yet. I agree with everything you said except for that one point.
TingleMuse ASMR wearing makeup is fine, when someone proclaims that they feel insecure about their looks without it however it is a sign of insecurity. But she admits this in the video, the response from "men", apparently you missed all the women saying the same thing, is a natural response to anyone claiming they are insecure about anything. We, both men and women, sympathise and would like to provide affirmation that this insecurity is not necessary. And thats why you get those comments. Imo they arent harmful at all, what is harmful is allowing your insecurities to become so deep that you get anxiety from them. Anyways i felt your comment was kind of pointless. Its almost as if youd prefer it if people just called her ugly.
Sophie, you shouldn't be scared or afraid to put your natural face on RUclips, because you're absolutely beautiful. No-one should be insecure about how they look. I really hate society has put such pressure on people to always look perfect. Anyways, you're a beautiful person. And I absolutely adore your channel! Always tingly, always sleep-inducing. Your natural skin isn't as bad as you think, the redness you think you see around your eyes is actually more of a lovely rose color and your freckles are quite pretty. I hope you become more comfortable with your skin.
It’s incredible that you’re already at 60k! I remember making a comment on one of your earliest videos only a few months ago when you had around 5k that I expected you to grow in subs rather quickly due to your excellent work and look at you now! Well deserved and congratulations!

There seems to be a lot of comments calling makeup fake and people wondering why she would go through this. As a woman who has spent large periods of her life both wearing makeup everyday and not wearing any makeup, leaving the house, there is pressure on women to wear it. It can be considered unprofessional or not well groomed. Most people who do wear makeup see it as another layer of clothing almost, in the same way most would feel naked without a shirt of without pants on. Like Sophie mentioned, putting on makeup also can be relaxing and therapeutic, a form of self care, a moment just focusing on you in the morning. Please be aware that most women don’t put on makeup for men and do it for their own confidence.
The camera makes your foundation look a little yellow because of white balance settings being set to auto most likely. If you set it manually before filming it'll probably focus faster aswell. (just from self experience not an expert)

This may sound a bit silly, but I just found this video so inspirational. I'm coming out (thankfully) of a depressive episode, and seeing that you can be scared of something and still be capable of doing it is something i struggle with and doubted it was possible, and you just showed me it is very possible. Thank you for posting this. Also your makeup looks lovely, as does your face without it 😊❤
Just gonna add my couple pennies in an overlong paragraph - you obviously have a lot of admirers saying how good you look without makeup, maybe some to the point of fawning a bit overmuch, but I hope that doesn't diminish their good intent. From my standpoint, you look just fine without and, while no one can tell you how to feel about yourself in any given situation and so change your opinion as though a switch has been flipped (we are our own worst critics, and all that, afterall), I'd venture to say as good without as with, and you have nothing to feel insecure about. Different, yes, but a good different. Thankfully, most of us are not perfectionists, casting our judgmental gaze in the direction of others. Besides, I find your "rediculous red eyes" my favorite feature of yours.
I don't see why you're shy to show yourself without makeup. I mean, lots of women would go to the surgeon or kill to have a face nearly as lovely as yours, so you have nothing to worry about ;)
I use that exact eyeliner! I’ve used it since I was about 17 (11 years) it has never let me down. I usually buy it from Boots or Tesco. Love the way you do your eyes :)

Lovely! Thanks for the tips. You asked about your fringe and I think you would be fine pushing it aside as you like it. Your face shape is a bit like Jenna Coleman so if you google her hairstyles she mostly does a hair part in the middle or sweep to the side. And your eyebrows are more expressive than hers so you can really work that look. Don't worry about how the fans feel - they will love you as you change and grow. xoxo

Considering that you probably had anxiety with putting your face online without makeup, it make me happy to see you doing it in this video. I've recently tried to start my recovery process (if you want to call it that) of my Social Anxiety and I know how it can be sometimes when you want to challenge your anxiety, it can be terrifying and anxiety is a rabbit hole for negative feelings so it's great to see you do it successfully right here.

Your face shape is a bit like Jenna Coleman so if you google her hairstyles she mostly does a hair part in the middle or sweep to the side. And your eyebrows are more expressive than hers so you can really work that look. Don't worry about how the fans feel - they will love you as you change and grow. xoxo

Considering that you probably had anxiety with putting your face online without makeup, it make me happy to see you doing it in this video. I've recently tried to start my recovery process (if you want to call it that) of my Social Anxiety and I know how it can be sometimes when you want to challenge your anxiety, it can be terrifying and anxiety is a rabbit hole for negative feelings so it's great to see you do it successfully right here.
