This show is very real, beautiful. I've watched it countless times and at the end I cry, because I'm a musician and I know what it's like to declare yourself to the audience that watches. Fantastic...
I was lucky enough to see Alanis live in concert in September 1996 during the Jagged Little Pill tour. It was the first concert I ever attended. Blown away. She's one of my favorite artists of all time.
The ultimate lyricist and a voice that comes along maybe every 100 years according to one of the top female vocalists in the world she sings opera and lamented Alanis"s genre choice. Operas' loss-our gain :)
Unfortunate. It isn't so much the volume as the tone, and the player. Very clunky and distorted sound. Player sounds like he is trying to heard, rather than trying to fit.
Fuck, you are all over it!! I was Jonesing for Alanis but worried if this was the bass monotone, overblown and doesn't support the band. It is that mix I can't handle. Has anyone ever re-recorded a bass performance of a live show? Crazy right!!
There's no words to describe this woman's effect on my life ,my mental psyche and emotional health. I've often learned more lessons from a 4 minute Alanis song then I have and perhaps in the last 20 years. Her music invokes a plethora of emotions from anger, rage, forgiveness, self-acceptance, humor, humanity, relief and mostly relativity with effortless understanding. And she can accomplish that in the entirety of a single album for me. She's my guardian, my warrior of care throughout all the havoc and spirals in my overtly intense and often exhausting life & I am healed by her empathy. She is wise, she is warm. She is courageous & she is big & I 💝 HER more now than I ever have in my whole life , gregory
I saw her last summer at Blossom music center. First time since 99. After my mom passed I would play the jagged little pill cd everywhere I went and screamed along. Great therapy.
Your words are so true and come from deep within your soul💚 Alanis can provoke the A-Z of our emotions just in a handfull of songs And for me that resonates a true artist as not many can have such an impact on their audience ☸

As a bass player, this may be the only time I've ever said this, but they should have chilled that bass player TF out. Not criticizing his playing, just his dominance. I love a strong bass player, but when it's overwhelming the guitar and the lead singer, it is just too distracting. I couldn't watch all of this.
I have to tell you when I was on my way to see Alanis on my birthday, a part of me was just a little bit bummed because it was during her "An intimate night w/ Alanis Morrisette" tour (I think it was called something like that) so I knew it was going to be just her singing and 2 guys on acoustic guitars. So, knowing that she can rock out, I was kind of not sure if it was going to be a powerful performance or not. Boy was I unjustified in my bias! Stripping the music down to its simplest and raw quality really let Alanis's voice shine through! It cut in the air like a knife! My sister and I were just blown away! Her voice really filled the atmosphere, and everyone in the audience felt it, we were all just dumb-founded! What a thrill it is to hear Alanis sing live! It's really incredible. It was at the Maine State Pier in Portland, and at one point I looked over to the dock on the right hand side, by the boats, not open to the concert goers. There was a police officer, I think perhaps a State Trooper, standing there with his cellphone out recording the show! HAHA it made me smile. Alanis is a gift! Undeniable.
I can totally see that, you must see her at Woodstock 99 🤘, I'm sorry but this performance is overwhelming, too many ego's almost falling onto each other.
Great show and fantastic artist! Love Alanis! One thing though about the sound, the bass here is too loud in the Mix, the keyboards and drums are good and the guitars are Ok in the ballads, but in the rock songs, they are forgotten and it's too bad...

Yeah Alanis is like a "Spiritual Guru" in my opinion and she has the gift and power of deliverance of healing through her little souls
(her masterpieces/songs)
She is a genius at her craft where she can spread her love empathy and healing just in a 3-5min track and save the world in an album
I know very little about her success or personally as Im there just for the music (words and instrumental arrangement) as they transend me to a better place of tranquillity
All that I do know is that shes from Canada that her eastern philosophy religion and spirituality are the same as myself and that she was born in the same year as me 1974 which means thats shes a "Tiger" within the Chinese astrological calender
I have only recently started to listen to her again and havnt for many years ever since her ground breaking debut album
"Jagged Little Pill" which I listened to as my warm up to having a night out on the town lol
And have only recently found "Thank You" & "Uninvited" and think they are out of this world and find so many messages contained within them
