I definitely agree on that people have the right to film in public government property when they want to in public service shouldn’t really barge in and tell them what to do I feel like this is disrespectful.
@@tylerm666 technically though if your filming other people and that person complains they kick you out. it sucks but that is the explanation i got when i got kicked out of guildwood
Honestly, Tyler and that security guard should’ve been fired at that job. He should’ve had never disrespected you and your friends the security guard needs to know that people have the right to film trains wherever they go this is just what I call pure disrespectful! 😤
Permit? What is he talking about? Why would you need a permit to film trains on a station platform? I’m not really grasping that concept, but amazing catches as always! Especially the Via lumi!
Can i ask, was it a security guard or a Special Constable? It would say on their uniform) Only Special Constable can issue fines on GO property as they are law enforcement officers.
Yeah I know. There’s no need for a permit. That security guard had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. I agree about him being fired. You guys weren’t doing anything dangerous. Railfanning on a platform is not dangerous or a crime. I mean to be honest, you don’t wanna get too close to tracks when a high speed train is approaching you like how they say well stay back from the yellow line until the train comes to a complete stop.
@@tylerm666 awesome. Do stay safe when fanning too. By the way, another thing I wanted to explain was, if I were a train station security guard and I didn't like having my picture taken for example, I just would never work a public job. But I'm used to having my picture taken since I was born because of how I've always been a lifelong musician.
Metro Vancouver has west coast express that is operated by Translink, which has its own transit, security and transit police, but also has some third-party security company and I am scared to take photos of the West Coast Express or anything on the CPKC mainline because of the third-party security company might say that I need a permit to take photos on the West Coast express platform, even though it’s owned by Translink I think if a transit agency has their own security or police department. They should be patrolling their stations not some third-party company who don’t know what they’re doing
Likely you got told off because there was so many people there and also the fact that some go transit officers can be absolute nutjobs sometimes. Not anything you did.

Love that little girl trying her best to videography the train😊

And the goofy of the day goes to the security guard.
24:07 awesome perspective! Nice work 👍🏻
Thanks buddy. :D

I think so. :(
I've been told I needed a permit by GO as well

You do not need a permit to film on GO Transit unless you are doing it for commercial purposes. That security guard was lying.
Yeah. :(
Great Catches Tyler
Well… I filmed at Brontë go station and long branch go station and guess what? I didn’t get a permit. But so sorry to hear that.
Yeah. Bad luck. :(

No way bro says you need a permit to film videos on a go station ive never had someone say that to me on a station.
Agreed. You are lucky. Guess it was bad luck. :(
And you’re not stealing anyone’s identity or impersonating anyone either by filming on a public platform that commuters wait for trains on
