我打算明年三月飛英國，小朋友正在讀六年級，請問可否插班？🙏🏻🙏🏻
插班係可以嘅，但係前提係已經由有英國住址同埋已經到埗，因為學校係由local council地方政府派位，所以要local council有咗你屋企人資料先。之後都係填form入紙，寫返自己想去邊間學校（應該可以填多過一間嘅），local council就會因應你嘅要求去睇你想要嘅學校有無位，有位就可能插到，無位local council就會幫你搵到有為止，因為英國所有適齡兒童都一定要返學。希望幫到你啦。

Grammar schools需要考11 plus試，夠分佢先會收，而且grammar schools通常都好超額，waiting list都好長。所以如果你個小朋友無喺year 5報名同喺year 6 開學時考11 plus入學試，學校連基本資料同分數都無，我諗嚟到即刻插班嘅機會比較少。如果你個小朋友year 8/9再報名插班，如果學校有位佢可能會有所謂12 plus試比插班轉學生，不過你要睇睇你想去果間學校嘅情況係點。

其實同正常申請學校(State and Grammar schools)一樣嘅，首先要有咗住址同埋已經到埗，有住址同埋local council有你資料之後，就可以經local council申請學校，因為學校同派位都係由local council處理嘅。你填想去邊間學校時，可以填你想去嘅grammar school。不過講真通常grammar school都好爆，好少會有空位，所以建議你都係諗埋state school。如果間grammar school有位，會叫你個小朋友去考個試，夠分先會考慮嘅。希望幫到你啦。
