Hi, Music Teacher here. Chance’s piano skills will help him with his band class. Since he reads both clefs, he will be at an advantage to play any instrument. Selecting a stringed instrument like guitar or violin will also assist him in improving his “ear training”. He should select an instrument that he loves because he will have to practice piano AND his instrument of choice. I am excited that he is discovering a love for music! Continue to excel. As a music educator, I was thinking he may be better suited to learn to play the piano, violin/cello, or a wood instrument like the clarinet since I believe he was introduced to the recorder in elementary school. So happy that he will be joining the orchestra! 😊

I think Chance will do well in band. He may be musically inclined. Have him look at famous trumpet, saxophone, drums , piano, strings players….. etc to decide. I’m betting he will shine in music. Nova made me laugh when she said she didn’t sleep well because of the leak (that she knew nothing of)…. lol. Just a bit of encouragement. Your family is one of a very few that I watch. I was thinking about taking up skating for summer . I just want to make sure that I get a good pair because I have fat feet. I remember when I was in middle school in Pittsburg,ca band is mandatory and I played the violin I never fell in love with it but I enjoyed the experience. You learn how to really music and how to write it I think that was my favorite part . I’m sorry to hear about the ceiling I’m glade no one was injured thank god . Love you guys

That same plumbing issue happened to me last year. Kitchen ceiling started leaking and it was the toilet right above it.
I just had a leak that damaged my entrance ceiling, part of the LR and the bathroom floor. Remediation of the water damage and demo has taken a week with blowers to dry the joists and walls. Very important to dry out the wet areas to prevent mold.
