- Hello everyone! This is a special week for me. Exactly 1 year ago I decided to join Patreon and post a video every Friday. It has been a wonderful journey and I feel as excited as I was when I first started doing this. Nothing can stop me now. Thus, I give you... "Taikatalvi" by Nightwish. I chose it to honour Marko's greatness. Even though I understand his decision, I must confess that I'm still sad about it. He left a huge mark on the history of Nightwish and he will be deeply missed. I feel like this song is a hidden gem. I hope I didn't ruin the beautiful lyrics in Finnish. I've never studied Finnish, so I'm aware there might be mistakes. I apologize if there are!

But how could ANYONE deny that Andra singing Taikatavli, to a background of snow scenes, sets off a huge feel good factor.

Always LOVED this intro. You, young lady, actually allowed me to understand the annunciation of what was said and showed me just how far off what I heard was from the actual lyrics. A fitting choice of a song as it's finally a real winter with snow here in Finland.
P.S. As always, you look & sound amazing, and your Finnish is better than Floor's, who even lived here in Finland a few years. And yes, I miss Marko also. Tuomas & the others will have a difficult time trying to replace him, should they still want to continue with Nightwish.

OMG! I had no idea that there was so much annunciation that was not picked up on the official album! Talk about Meadows of Heaven! You did it way better than Nightwish--please, don't tell them that! LOL! This was the first Nightwish concert I took my wife to, pregnant with our little crotch goblin and why he needed Nightwish to go to sleep after he was born. Take this virtual fist bump from the Thundering Herd of Dachshund. You deserve it for that beautiful soul.
