JB Conspiracy are the last of the "Big 4" current UK ska-punk bands for you to check out (I'd have said it was 3 with Random Hand and SB6 until Call Me Malcolm entered the frame). I first saw them live over 20 years ago going by the name Duff Muffin, but they've been a real powerhouse of UK ska-punk ever since. A lot of they're stuff in the middle of their span has been very experimental - similar trajectory to RX Bandits I guess, but they've recently gone back to their ska-punk roots with their latest EP. I'm fairly certain I sent you 3 different JB tracks in my Pat Picks, and I'm fairly certain they were all off different records, so it'll be interesting how you like the others! I'm actually gonna give the cell to Joel on this one because I thought he'd hate the snare but didn't. But Chuck definitely rated it right 🫡
