Nice review. I have the V6 Petrol S and really love it. Great drivers car and always makes me smile whenever I step inside and drive it. I get about 28 mpg motorway and about 15 mpg around town so I expect you will be getting far less. Might take the SVR for a test drive soon.
GuyEVO awesome! You’ll certainly not be disappointed. Nearly 1900miles in and I’m absolutely loving it. I don’t think I had the same affection for my previous RRSport SVR. This thing is just so much more enjoyable to drive on road. Now you’ve just got a, hopefully not too long, wait for it to arrive! 👍
@@AltioraPeto I've been told September so it's going to be a long summer! Lol. This does seem like the ultimate SUV, commuting to work, lots of fun on the way back and I'll be using it to tow the family caravan through France in the summer next year. Might even fit in a ski trip to the Alps. Top marks to the SVO team in Coventry, I'm slightly bias as I live down the road 😁
Why does the title say 'Off Road'? Its a joke. He calls it bumpy and challenging. The road to my house is worse than that and I do it daily in an old Peugeot city car. Gives absolutely zero info re the Jags ability/inability to go off-road
Because this was an area that was ‘off the road’… in the same way a muddy field or a bowling lawn is off-road. I suppose if it’s not the Nurburgring then it’s not really ‘on-road’ either then 💁🏻
Jack Shotton no launch control button. Just hold on the brake and mash the throttle! I’ve got some drag runs I’m doing this week with a RRSport SVR so will see how they compare!
SVR I’m actually a little disappointed too. Absolutely loving everything else but slightly let down by the fact it’s not like previous SVRs, but then the Gen 2 Sport is the same. Opens the door for aftermarket mods though, just a shame have to resort to that rather than being sorted out the box!
Altiora Peto so true. When they announced the f pace svr I was so hyped that it would be like the first gen. Could you do like an exhaust sound video. Like revving it and show how much rpm you are revving it to?
SVR will do. I’m doing a comparison video this week with the Gen 2 Sport SVR which I think will be quite telling. Keep your eye out for that. Hope to have it uploaded by the end of the week.
daniel ranson I’d agree, as they’re not exactly proper “off-roaders” are they? I can also wager that to 95% of other Jag SVR owners off-roading is birthing more than bumping up the odd curb.
Completely agree, but nice to know that if I really needed to, I could... so I did! Coped pretty well all things considered, although it was only a bumpy track really. Much more fun on the road, like todays fun had alongside a RRSport SVR - the video for that will be up in the next few hours!

Thanks for your videos, you helped make up my mind! Now I'm waiting very impatiently for my ultra blue SVR to arrive 🥰

GuyEVO well give me a shout when you take delivery as I’m fairly local! In fact I was visiting a friend near there just yesterday.
gotta love that sound of that british V8
except its 4 cylinder
@@arturarutiunian9794 are you drunk? SVR is allways V8.
Isn't it an Indian company now?
@@jimbob1743 i think jaguar is now part of the indian Tata group yes
@@jimbob1743 its a British company owned by Indians, big difference, they develop their cars in Warwickshire with little to no interference from Tata
A coolness only a jag could have
Totally agree!
Nice video, how is the car so far with you?
any suggestions for an off road tire for the fpace? something still sexy, not too beefy?
Oops that was a speed bump
It said SLOW!!!🤣🤣

Does it have launch control or is it brake boost only?

Does the svr not crackle and pop on downshifts?
Sadly not every time like the Gen 1 RRSport SVR. It does infrequently but it’s not as pronounced or regular as other SVRs - a shame in my view.
Altiora Peto Yeah hopefully exhausts and tunes get made. Cause I was really looking forward to the sound

You drove the car DOWN a slightly rutted track. Guaranteed it would not have made it back up same track as these are woeful off road.

off road.... hahahaha!!!!
Milage at the moment ?
1000+ 😁
Why would you want to do that. Vast majority of F Pace drivers will never go off road. Just buy an old defender for that.

Indian brand owned by tata
And soon to be a French brand owned by Peugeot, not sure I get your point. They're still all made in the UK
British brand owned by an Indian company Tata. Still built in the UK though...
So what bro.
Company is registered and based in Coventry , cars are developed in Gaydon then made in Solihull, not sure any of these places are in India
