Whoever gave you the menu was definitely trolling 🤣
They know. Gullible Americans are the ones being trolled. 😄

As an American, I can attest that we've never heard of brussel sprout sliders much less have eaten one. And we would NEVER ruin a hotdog by infusing it with pizza!
Are they trolling? I can’t tell
What the hell is a brussel sprout slider? They made this up right? Someone is trolling them 😂😂
I think Google is trolling them...😂😂😂
Right, I was like that's not how this works. That's not how many of this works... Lol.
No, I can get behind the hotdogs.
Who did they pay to do the research? 🤣🤣🤣 This is freaking hilarious! They need to come to experience several tailgates here and in a different state for each one.
I'm guessing the south has the most cookouts and Texas is a football-loco state. I would tell them to start there and work their way along the Gulf Coast (after hurricane season... those months you could tour the Midwest). Don't go to trendy experimental fusion restaurants in big cities or you'll end up with more Brussels sprouts sliders or the like. Go to a well established popular sports bar. Go to the stadium parking lots and seek out smoking grills.
Lived in the US my whole life. Never even heard of a sprout slider, a pizza muffin, or a pizza hotdog. Not many people eat white chili, but it exists.
Are you kidding? White chili is super common, and for me, much better than red, beef chili.
I love how every American watching this is confused af lol 😆
Yup, British trolls
Americans need to give this shit thumbs down. Has to be english people with thumbs up on this crap.
Adding: they have no flavor over there. Many, many, many, have told me so that have fled to our lands. Good God
Exactly, where do they eat brussels sprouts?
That's what trolls do
Exactly! What is this food?- I've NEVER seen any of these at tailgates!! "California Wings"??? No, that's where I'm from and have tailgated many, many times. No clue what that is. Couldn't a simply Google search have helped?
I don’t think any red-blooded American would be caught eating a brussel sprout hors d'oeuvre while tailgating or watching at home. I think you confused it with ribs.
right?
I was confused about that one too!
Totally agreed with you.
It's probably a california thinhg, specifically LA. It feels like something somebody from LA would come up with.
@@prodigypennas a California resident yea, weird health conscious food that just doesnt taste good
As an American, I am very intrigued by the idea of the pizza hotdogs. I have honestly never heard of those before 😂
I think someone was pulling your leg when suggesting the sprout hor d'oeuvre 😂
I love the fact they didn’t just sit inside and eat but they went outside in the freezing, grey British weather to get the full experience 😂
Weather is just like OH right now so perfect time to go tailgating we don't let the cold slow us down...lol...hence the hot soup
Still warmer than tailgating at Lambeau field in November....
Such a contrast to the 80-90 degree weather we’ve been experiencing in LA this whole week
Well, if they’d had the right foods it would have been the full experience. So they had beer and wings, at least. Wrong kind of chili and sliders. I suppose someone might eat that hot dog…
Whereas it will probably be 90 degrees in LA for the Super Bowl.
I have never in my whole 21 years of living in America ever heard of or seen people eat these foods at a tailgate. Honestly you guys eating the totally wrong foods makes this video even funnier.

As a Texan a lot of these I’ve never heard of. But one I haven’t seen anyone mention that my family likes to do is Jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with bacon cook on a BBQ pit.
C'mon, say the name! Its the Atomic Buffalo Turd!
Texas tail gate = brisket + ribs + chilli (no beans) + cold beer (shiner). Maybe queso or frito pie.
Shiner is great beer!
Someone plz get these guys to a REAL tailgate party!!!
A to the MEN.
Thank you! My gawd
Facts… that food is not tailgate food at all.
Nerds!!!!
American:brats
Your research team did you dirty!!! Wings are the only thing I recognize from a tailgate. The brussels - someone was really having a go with you! 😅😅🤣🤣
And they’re not even the right kind of wings. California wings??? Seriously?
Has anyone mentioned that tailgating is named for the _gate_ at the _tail_ of a pickup truck, the bed and tailgate of which often serves as a sort of sideboard upon which coolers, snacks, grills/camping stoves, and the like are often made accessible.
A tailgate is actually the gate that folds down horizontally on a pick-up truck. Tailgating became the verb which refers to folding it down to use as a cooking area and preparing food. 🙂
Came to the comments to say this!
*I have never ever in all the Super Bowl-related events I've gone to seen anyone eat brussels sprouts sliders. I'm racking my brain to think if I've ever seen someone eat a vegetable not a fried potato lol*
You would be mocked out of the parking lot if you tried to serve bougee brussels sprouts as a slider.
I was about to say the exact same thing! Maybe vegan tailgaters? 🤔 Never mind, it has ham. 🤢
@@billiebuffalo nothing about that is bougee 😂 just way too healthy for a tailgate event maybe
Lol don’t think Brussel Sprout Sliders are a tailgating thing. I have never seen them. 😀
Don't forget the celery to go along with their fried buffalo wings lol.
I feel that whoever told you what Americans eat at tailgating parties was probably trolling you. Brussel Sprout Sliders? Seriously? 😂
not even the hollywood celebrities at the Superbowl would eat that in their lounge
Yeh that one...umm no lol
Im not surprised its a thing to be honest. Americans love taking vegetables they wouldn't eat normally and adding as much meat and cheese to it as possible. The recipes i've seen online call for cream cheese and bacon.
Yea they got trolled for sure. I don’t even know anyone who eats Brussels sprouts let alone tailgaters for football. I mean no way would they eat that. Tailgate barely has anything green in it. Lol 😂 they got trolled for sure. Thinking of it that way this video is even funnier. Lol
this though xD
I just saw the 2023 episode, so I came back to see this one. Two points: I’m American, and have never had/heard of most of those menu items, and 2) a tailgate is the flip-down “door” on the back of a pickup truck (the Ford F150 is America’s best selling vehicle for many decades).
The fact that he said the score would be 1-0 😂😂😂 That’s not even possible.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
no way Brussel sprout sliders are a thing that's gotta be a prank
As an American, I have never had or heard of Brussel sprout sliders
@@michaelschemlab Same. I like sprouts but not like that.
I don't think any of these are a thing. A pizza hot dog? We have many many hot dog styles in the US but that's not a thing. Chicago, Seattle, DC Half Smoke...Sonoran even but wtf is a pizza hot dog?! Also, California wings? If someone mentioned California wings to me I'd thing they're just vegan wings smeared with Avocado. This is a travesty.
Same brussel sprout sliders are not a thing boys I promise you.
I think they got these recipes from a NFL fan living in the UK or something. LOL
As an American, I would like to know about the process of your research for some of these items😂😂 I’ve never seen Brussels sprouts at a tailgate LOL
These are stadium foods
Hahahahhaha ! I have NEVER seen these foods at a football game tailgate 🤣
If you bring Brussel sprouts to a tailgate party, the only thing that would save you from getting your a** kicked was the fact that the potential a** kickers would be rolling on the ground helplessly laughing their a**es off at you. And I hope you don't mind being called Sprout Boy for the next 35 years at every public gathering....Sprout Boy.
I don’t even know wtf a pizza muffin is 🤣🤣
@@yrvanmichel1446 I'm sorry but what stadium in all of America for football would serve anything with Brussels sprouts or white chicken chili
I'm just gonna say I'm glad you guys tried food that's more in line with what is typically eaten at super bowl gatherings this year. Lol.
Loved "I was chased by a ram once."
For a proper tailgate, you definitely need some barbecue, hamburgers, guacamole with chips, assorted cut vegetables with ranch dressing for dipping, and chocolate chip cookies.
Yes!!! and some brownies... what's a tailgate without brownies???
Where are the hot wings!??!! You gotta have hot wings!
Agreed
You're not doing guacamole these days unless you're serving it with a $500 wine.
Agreed! Except for the always ubiquitous wings this is not all that norm. Also Fritios chili is yummers.
This whole menu was totally confusing except the chicken wings
No they were confusing because California wings don’t exist.
I’m still confused because I thought wings came from buffalo
@@Gnarkill1959yeah, but at least wings are recognizable.
It's like they found it on weight watchers.
My mom makes chiken chili
Always Fun To Watch You Guys!
Someone is having a good laugh telling you we eat that awfulness because I sure did. I have never heard of Sprout Sliders, Pizza Muffins, Pizza Hot Dog, and "California" wings. White chicken chilli is a thing ,but Skyline is a chilli I think about when associating Ohio/Cincinnati. Good fun 😆
The only “green” I see at Super Bowl and tailgates: jalapeño poppers, spinach and artichoke dip and maybe the layer of guac on a 7-layer dip
Yep
We had all of those at our super bowl party this year😂😂
👏👏👏👏👏
Honorable mention to maybe some green peppers/chillis if it's still cold and someone put on a massive pot of chilli... to be eaten out of a small styrophome bowl with a plastic spoon of course.
And vomit
All of this looks so good and so fun, but this is defintely a Pinterest mom's idea of tailgate food, moreso than actual tailgating food haha
Exactly what I was thinking.

I think that’s where they must have got these ideas from 😂

Wow you are sooo correct!
You guys are awesome! I just subscribed today because you are both so happy and kind!
Its such a good feeling when you see people who come from a place with totally different food cultures enjoy the food culture that ive and many people have enjoyed for so long. It makes me smile so much
As an American, none of this food would be eaten at a tailgate. Some sort of a fire/charcoal grill needs to be present with hot dogs, burgers, and your standard person drinking beer while cooking all of it. The other tailgaters are eating chips with beer or soda in hand (often in solo cups). Corn hole is often set up and some drinking games are played. Honestly, tailgating can be more fun than watching the game sometimes.
For real lmao. Who gave them this list? Def wasnt an american that has been tailgating
So basically, make the foods a lot more unhealthy and you get american food
What’s a corn hole?
@@mrjasonswilliams It’s a game where you set a “goal” which is basically a ramp with a hole inside and you try to throw small bean bags from a distance! If the bean bags don’t make it through the hole, they slide off the ramp. It’s surprisingly difficult
I think tailgating must be more fun than the game… I once went to half an Angels game and we gave up and when home when no one managed to score a single point. As for the food, the wings wouldn’t be too odd but I’d have expected standard American cookout foods, right? Big cooler of sodas, hot dogs and burgers, bags of chips and maybe salsa or potato salad, and for the fancy folks possibly steak.

Ollie is so funny🤣 love your videos!
Me: wow that food looks really good! Much more sophisticated than I was expecting.
American in comments: No. that’s not it. We just grill stuff.
It’s football tailgate food, the most sophisticated thing is the barbecue sauce
if you think grilling things correctly isn't a sophisticated process then you're sorely mistaken
Yeahhh it's not meant to be classy, it's meant to be made while getting drunk.
I mean it’s not meant to be classy. It’s finger food. Buffalo wings, fried cheese sticks, meatballs and beer. A lot of times the grill isn’t even necessary, you just throw everything into a crockpot and drown it in sauce… but if you think bbq and grilling is unsophisticated than my friend than you are mistaken! lol
Grill stuff and eat chili from a paper cup.
It's settled. Next year, we need to fly Josh and Olly out to the actual Super Bowl and have them tailgate with fans.
No. Bring em out for a big college rivalry game. That is the real American football experience, and they actually still do tailgating. Only rich snobs can afford to go the the SuperBowl. College football is still a sport for the people.

LMAO at the idea of Americans eating Brussels sprouts while tailgating. 😂
Yeah that is way too healthy for us Americans.
All I was thinking is how absolutely inaccurate that one snack was for us lol give us some chips & dip, chicken wings, hot dogs and pizza. Lots of pop and alcohol. just 100% unhealthy.

Josh and Ollie should do a video where they actually go to the superbowl and join in with a proper tailgate party
The person that gave the info on Super Bowl tailgating foods was absolutely fucking with you. You will find none of these weird concoctions at a Super Bowl tailgating party.
It’s burgers, hotdogs, Italian sausage w/onions & peppers. Maybe some wings, or steak tips. But, that’s as extravagant as it gets.
I should know… I’m from Title City - Boston.
and if you are in Louisiana its boudin, gumbo, sausages and jambalaya.......
Right, although the Italian sausage with peppers and onions is often served in a sandwich called a "grinder". There's also plenty of bagged snacks--chips (crisps to you Brits) crackers, dips, guacamole, nachos, pretzels, pork rinds, all kinds of things. Deviled eggs and homemade potato salad often also make an appearance in the South, as well as cold fried chicken in the summer (out of a cooler.)
Yeah. Someone was messing with you with that menu. Brussel sprout slider? No thank you.
And if you’re a Bengals fan, you’re dumping some nasty concoction on spaghetti.
I have been to many tailgates over the last 50 years and except for the chicken wings I had never seen any of what they showed. But most have Brisket, burgers, and hotdogs, sometimes fajitas, chili, and most times corn chips with guacamole, a bean dip, and/or queso. But the best tailgate I ever went to was in Louisiana where they had Gumbo, boiled crawdads and potatoes, and rice and beans. I worked for 10 years for a company and every year we took off early and went to the opening day for the Texas Rangers where we had about 30 boxes of Dominos pizza delivered to the parking lot. Not the greatest but to get paid to go to a baseball game wasn't horrible.
I've seen things like what you're testing here, no doubt (not these exactly, but in the same vein), but GENERALLY tail gating is just BBQ and cook out foods like hotdogs and hamburgers. If someone ventures outside that it's usually soul food. So Gumbo, fried okra, crawfish, mustard/turnip/collard greens, fried chicken. It's usually just unpretentious food meant to clog your arteries. There are definitely those odd folks that would do something like a brussel sprout slider though. They definitely exist in their own little bubble of the parking lot.
LMAO why am I laughing so hard at the thought of some random health conscious person on the other side of the parking lot eating brussel sprout sliders
So do strangers share their food with each other, or is it only one friend group sitting down and eating what they have brought?
I'm curious too
@@rkah6187 Most people do. Usually you bring your own beer, but if you show even the slightest curiosity in whats being cooked, you're likely to have a plate stacked with food forced into your hands. Tail gating is a akin to football hooliganism, kinda like what Josh said. It's an experience and a culture unto itself, and as long as you're there repping the home team, you're gonna find a whole bunch of new friends to share food, drink and debauchery with.
@@reikoshea That sounds lovely :) I know that potlucks and such are very popular that side of the pond, so I was wondering. (Although I don't think football hooliganism is a good comparison, at least not if you don't set fire to people's car at the end of the night)
Come to Buffalo, NY and attend a Bills game for an AMAZING tailgate experience!
“Superb owl” ….brilliant.
This is what happens when you search for super bowl snacks on Pinterest lol. I guarantee some mid 30's wife created that brussel sprout slider abomination as a "healthy super bowl snack" recipe. Most tailgating foods are grilled/fried, burgers, hot dogs, chili etc.

This comment is 100% accurate. Nobody is making Brussel sprouts to tailgate
American here! I can tell you nobody would be caught dead eating Brussels sprout sliders at a tailgate.
Something more common is just lots of beer, bbq, and burgers, wings, ribs, hotdogs, basically cookout foods.
Ok y'all seven layer dip, cheese dip, hamburgers with bacon/cheese and green chili, hot dogs with Texas chili and cheese, white chili, wings, ham rolls, cookies, pie and dump cake to start. All with Boston lager beer (and whatever good we can fill a growler with) and mixed drinks. Y'alls food team needs to call for recipes and get you some real American grub lol. Love how into it you are! I swear it's a blast, keep up the awesome videos.
U.S. citizen here: I've attended quite a few US-style "tailgating" sessions before football games. Of the dishes presented in this video, I only recognized the chicken wings. However, your white chicken chili with cilantro and tortilla chips looks amazing. I would definitely take that to a tailgate!
But it had corn in it. Corn.
This is like, if an alien species discovered the superbowl via a buzzfeed "TRY THESE SUPERBOWL SNACKS" list. People order pizza, wings, open a bag of chips and maybe if you're try harding you make or buy boxed version of little things like jalepeno poppers, pig in blankets (not that bacon one, the pastry one), maybe some try hard dip experience for tostitos. I've never ever seen any of these at a superbowl party, even the hotdogs are rare outside of warm places where you can have a bbq and the only time I experienced that they didn't even have hotdogs.
The Superb Owl.
That depends. The closer you get to the stadium the fancier the food. Ever been right next to Death Valley in Clemson? Man, the food there is elaborate and legit, sometimes fully catered by local BBQ joints. But definitely no brussel sprouts!
Brats
@@awkwarddino Someone who has a thrift shop channel in Vegas just found shot glasses with superb owl on them the other day
Man, growing up ordering food for your superbowl party was always looked down upon and seen as lazy. You always at least made BBQ (as in pulled pork, not grilling) or grilled hamburgers & hotdogs (or brats and sauerkraut if you wanted to get real fancy). Homemade dips were always expected (buffalo chicken dip was always a must have). That being said, I did live in a very warm place where it was already starting to be spring by this time of year.
Whoever told them that Brussels Sprouts have any place in tailgating completely OWNED them. Oh yeah, Brussels sprouts, that's totally not one of the most commonly despised vegetables in America.

Which is creme cheese base with skyline/gold star/dixie chili topped with cheddar cheese put it in the oven till warm and cheese is melted
I went to a soccer game a while back and we had a like mile long parade to the stadium after our tailgating and did chants and sang songs the whole time.
I've been tailgating all over since I was a baby. I don't know who lied to you all about what tailgate food is but no real tailgater is eating Brussel sprout sliders, pizza muffins, or pizza hot dogs.

Watching British "Josh and Chad" trying to tailgate with brussel sprouts and muffins is the cutest thing I've seen this year yet LOLOLOLOLOL
The "Tailgating" term is from the very rear of a pickup truck bed when you let the gate down and some would cook on it or sit on it. Thus tailgating.
I feel like y'all got white bean chicken chili confused with chicken tortilla soup 🤣🤣
Yeah. That's the deal .. I was trying to figure out how corn got in chili. Tortilla soup maybe. But needs beans and Rotel..
I just subscribed to your channel. This was hilarious! As an American I have to support previous comments this isn’t tailgating food but your enthusiasm was incredible! We will be coming into Super Bowl time within the next couple months please come to America and go to the tailgating parties you will have a fantastic time!!!
Tailgating gets its name from the tailgate on the pickup trucks (the bit that folds down so stuff can slide in and out of the truck bed) that folks use to haul the tents, grills, etc. Happens at mostly at pro and college football, but I've seen it at basketball games, soccer games, and even concerts. And no one has EVER brought brussels sprouts to a tailgate.
I came here to say this. Lol.
@@SparklesMFantastic Me too. Also, in Texas you can say "pick up" or "truck" but never "pick up truck."
I was looking for someone to say this.
It’s called tailgating because the part that opens on the back of a pickup truck is called the tailgate. We’re in ‘Murica, so of course you would do it out of the back of your pickup lol 😂
As a So Cal tailgater, it's always been carne asada tacos, sauteed onions over brats, Jell-O shooters, Jimmy's tri-tip sliders, Nancy's Mexican chili, and that old dude from across the section's curious jungle juice (had to keep a close eye on any newb circling that one!). I brought IPA's. Oh, and a friend who always kicked in a generous variety of Little Debbie's treats.
I can confidently say that out of my 20+ years as a midwestern tailgater, I have _never_ had Brussels sprout sliders, pizza muffins, or pizza hotdogs.
Typically we have buffalo wings, ribs, chili with Frito’s to scoop it with, finger foods (like mozzarella sticks), nachos, and lots of chips and dip. Plus soda like Mt. Dew and Coca-Cola, or beer like Budweiser.
Honestly speaking, tailgate food is really specific to their regions. If you guys really wanna understand the culture, you guys just need to do a tour hanging out with some of the well known tailgate-cooks from around the different states
That would be a great series next year. A tour of the football stadium and their tailgate food
One tailgate at Orchard Park for the Bills game and they'd never need to experience another.
@@crickettu I’m sorry but that seems super boring and not very like the kind of videos Jolly posts. Doing a whole trip around America just to try some like bbq and stuff out of someone’s boot sounds excessive.

FWIW, 'tailgating' refers to showing up in a pickup truck and dropping the tailgate to release all the goodies inside, use as a work surface, buffet, seating, whatever. Toward game time, shove everything back in and close it up. Also not sports exclusive, used to do the same before concerts, anytime you'd show up early for an event.

Dudes go tail gating at an actual game IN America - it's amazing. Everyone offers you their food. You must do it! Such a great experience.
I have never in all my years of living seen nor heard of someone eating Brussel sprouts at a tailgate 😂😂
But chili, hot dogs, bratwursts, ribs, burgers, 7 layer dip, chicken wings, deviled eggs, BBQ chicken, potato salad, baked beans with bacon, chips and dip, pizza, and LOTS of beer (also usually liquor) are the usual suspects at least at the tailgates I've been to lol.
Nacho/Mexican dip is popular in the Midwest.. In a crockpot mix cooked ground beef, taco seasoning, Velveeta reg or Mex style and salsa. Melt it all and mix. Dip fav tortilla chips. Yummy 🔥
I live in the USA. I've never had any Brussel sprout sandwiches at a tailgate. Nor have I ever done pizza muffins or pizza dogs. Wings are a thing so is fried chicken of any kind KFC is big.
White Chilli is a Christmas food and doesn't have corn in it. It's served with sources in the middle and is amazing!
We do little smokies wrapped in bacon
Qubabs
Roasted corn on the cob
Pulled pork or jerk chicken sandwiches
Chili of any kind is big as is anything grilled or smoked
And a tail gate is not tge trunk if a car this the gate on a pickup truck. A tail gate party consists of people putting bar bee que pits or smokers in tge back of the truck bed so they can cook on site the tailgate is put down and food is served from that buffet style.
Thank you! Covered everything I wanted to.
I was so confused because they had no idea what a tailgate was. Who hasn't heard of a pickup truck??
Once again the MVP of a Jolly episode - Gabie. Have no idea what a Sprout Slider is.... But if she made it I'd eat it.
I'm still confused who gave yall this list lol. But I love it.
That chicken tortilla soup at the end looks really good.
As an American, I've never heard of any of this and I'm suddenly worried that I'll be SURE I'm talking about British food and someone will be like "Why would you bake ground lamb under a layer of mashed potatoes? What is that?"
This food is so far off that now I don't know if Shepherd's Pie is real or just something someone made up to mess with me.
The wings are on point though. Those are real.
The Shepard’s pie as you know it IS probably different than what it would be in the uk
Yeah, I thought Shepherd's Pie was leftovers from Sunday roast and mash and whatever veg put together into a casserole to use up everything.
Yes, but I’ve never heard them called California wings 😂
shepards pie, ground beef seasoned and cooked, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, and onions, all chopped seasoned and sautéed then mixed with the beef bottom layer. Corn for the next layer, then mashed potatoes for the top, though I mash them with a seasoned butter garlic to add extra flavor to them after they boil in beef baste till soft. Then bake it for 20 minutes or so to put a little brown on the potato layer. Maybe add some red pepper flakes for heat if im in the mood to the beef/onion layer.
@@saorise28 Our Shephard's pie (US) is more like what would be considered a cottage pie in the UK.
In Cincinnati, they eat red chili with kidney beans in it over spaghetti noodles with cheddar cheese on top.
That I’ve heard of
They do, but it’s not normal chili. It’s actually an Americanized version of Greek Pastitsio sauce brought there by immigrants a century ago.
Sky high chili!
Except Cincinnati chili has no beans in it, and there’s a debate about whether it’s better when it’s made with cinnamon or cocoa powder.
Also it’s sky line chili or gold star chili.
I'm from Tennessee, and I don't like American football, so I haven't ever tailgated. I was really surprised that tailgating foods were so fancy until I read the comments and realized they had completely gotten it wrong 😂. Even this non-tailgating American knew that this was weird. Hilarious!
Lmao seeing this for the first time its hard to believe they weren't trolling the viewers because I haven't heard of anything on that list that sounded remotely normal (American) I'm glad they revisited and had a taste of actual super bowl foods
intriguing, never quite had any of these lol, but wouldn't be opposed to all this "stunt" food as Alvin Cailan would call it.
Nachos, wings, and pizza do tend to be standard fare. Lots of chips and dips: buffalo chicken dip, 7 layer dip, salsa, etc.
Also, hurts that California has so much craft, but the big commercial stinker is the most popular (darn those sales numbers)!
Exactly. I think they'd like the 7 layer dip!
I came to the comments looking for a mention of 7 layer dip - as a Texan who went to college at an SEC school, I KNOW tailgating and there’s alwaaaays 7LD
@@nomorphoryew899 As one of those Texans who just has never been able to care about football, even I was sat here like "Where's the seven layer dip?!" That white chicken chili though. Oh man. Jealous.
@@nomorphoryew899 I think it's popular throughout the US. And it should be pretty easy for them to replicate there if they want to try it
I’m loving all these comments. It’s such a regional thing, I love hearing about all the different tailgate traditions
You guys are awesome. I've never heard of a Brussel sprout slider in my life. Haha. And tail gating is out of the back of a truck. The door that flaps open and closed is called the "tail gate." To be fair though, they've gone full on nowadays with fancy motorhomes and everything. It's a lifestyle of it's own.
Brussels sprout what? This whole video has me but I love y’all!
Omg been tailgating for years never had most of your menu
The term tailgate actually comes from trucks. The "tailgate" is the hinged part of the truckbed that folds down. People will use this part to either sit on and drink beer or use it as a cooking area.
and haul the grill!!
do cars have tails?
@@Hannah_The_Heretic yes, they do. That's why it's called a tailgate.
Wrong! The practice developed from the first intercollegiate football game, which was between Princeton and Rutgers in 1869. Spectators gathered to grill sausages at the “tail end” of a wagon with its gate swung open giving rise to the name.
@@jamiepaul6305 show me, I've never seen one
Where did you get the idea that Brussel sprouts was part of tailgating. Ours is mostly barbequing, hamburgers, hot dogs, chili cheese dogs ,cheeses. and chips and dips.
exactly. this is way to healthy for a tailgate. Maybe if they were battered and deep fried...
@@actroutt deep fried...😄
