I hope you're right; I love V, his visuals are outstanding and his voice is truly superb, but I am not in love with these very simple lyrics and the very repetitive chorus. Too much like what the US Industry keeps churning out. I compare to Stigma's exquisite lyricism and I feel let down. (And he is not the first to give me this feeling in this solo era of theirs, I might just add.) But I will give it a few more runs and see how I feel.

The lyrics is good, the voice is good, the more you play the song and listen to it, the more you will appreciate it.
I hope you're right; I love V, his visuals are outstanding and his voice is truly superb, but I am not in love with these very simple lyrics and the very repetitive chorus. Too much like what the US Industry keeps churning out. I compare to Stigma's exquisite lyricism and I feel let down. (And he is not the first to give me this feeling in this solo era of theirs, I might just add.) But I will give it a few more runs and see how I feel.
@@ystrw i was also disappointed at first, thinking there was something missing in the song, but when i started humming with V and played it several times, i felt the connection, and that's when i started liking it. V's voice is really soothing to hear. Pls. enjoy his voice and enjoy his music. Thank you.

It's a little ironic that BTS are the ones that have pushed my standard of music so high; I've become far pickier about what's 'good' music since I started listening to them. 😄 I do love his velvety voice, he's one of the few baritones I truly enjoy- him and RM.
