Once a diagnosis of schizophrenia is made, marriage and getting job becomes distant dream Even if they get married divorce is inevitable and if they get a job, they are removed from the job under various pretexts Please discuss with your doctor
Can disability benefits be given to a patient who is suffering from prolong mental illness but he s not in a position to seek treatment due to social stigma associated with him and leading poor quality of life.?
Yes. This issue was discussed in detail. Unable to access to treatment, unable to afford for treatment, do not want to take treatment or taking ineffective treatment should not be considered for disability assessment or evaluation
