I think the companies that will have a guest character in T8 are Sega, Capcom and Square Enix

SNK and ARIKA too. Yasuyuki Oda has expressed interest in collaborating with Harada for another SNK guest character in Tekken, and ARIKA literally works on the netcode for T8, so a Fighting EX Layer character is also possible, so we could likely see Skullomania in Tekken 8.

Very high chance of Anna returning in S2 or up that is, due to her popularity and lore with Nina ever since her playable debut back in T1. She still needs to get her revenge against her older sister Nina for defeating her during the events of T6 while she was protecting Kazuya from Jin's tyranny.
Based on all the other dlcs I think it will be a character that will feature in the Tekken 8 dlc story so guest characters rn probably won't happen

@@echo8168Seiji Aoki hangs out with Harada a lot. He knows Sega is working on a new Virtua Fighter, which is why he was confused that they had nothing to show at the game awards.
It is understandable why most people think the 4th character will be a guest character, as normally you'd think Namco will need a character to top, or at least rival, the hype Heihachi produced, and what's better than to have a guest character from a popular franchise to generate such hype?
But I personally believe it's gonna be a legacy character. As for the reason why Heihachi's the 3rd character and not the 4th for this Season Pass, I think it's the Story DLC coming with him in Autumn. My theory is the first 3 DLC characters will be in the upcoming story with the 4th character setting up for the next story DLC. Hence why it's gonna be a legacy.

No, if a character from another game is added they will have special mechanics, geese, akuma, etc
I always said akira yuki shouldve been one of the guest dlc characters in T7, he fits the roster perfectly 👌
There's also Dead or Alive which is another 3D fighting game in case you're thinking about which I'll be honest it will be kinda cool if Harada is ever thinking to add either Kasumi or Hayabusa in Tekken 8.
Of course that aside all this had got me thinking about something, when Heihaichi was announced as the 3rd dlc character for season 1 I was shock that he wasn't save for last. Usually the last character is the most important or surprising character at the end of the season such as with Akuma in SF6 & Takeda in MK1. The fact that Heihaichi was the 3rd dlc character makes me think someone highly important is coming last in season 1, probably a guest character,a new character or even an old school character that hasn't made a return for a long time like Bruce, Christie or even Wang, which I'm anticipating to see who it will be by the time Heihaichi comes out.
Kasumi or Hayabusa would be PERFECT Doa guest characters.

I really want Anna, Julia, and Kunimitsu to be in the game for me to be finally contented with the roster. Although it's unlikely that one of them will be the last DLC for season 1 because Murray hinted that it will be a Muay Thai character; it could be Fahkumram or Bruce.
But I wish they would release multiple characters at the same time just like how they did in Tekken 7. Why do we have to wait for months just for ONE character to be revealed? They have already prepared for these characters before release.

So Harada is going to release Heihachi Mishima in the Autumn season next season and in the winter season Akira Yuki from Virtua Fighter for Tekken 8. That is super cool. I would love to see Akira a Virtua Fighter and Sega character for Season 1 for Tekken 8. Bring it on. Virtua Fighter 6 yes. They did announce a sixth Virtua Fighter game was announced. Yes Virtua Fighter and Tekken are the two most popular 3D fighter games out right now. Soul Caliber, Dead Or Alive, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter has now stepped into the 3D fighting game universe. I love the backgrounds for Street Fighter 6.

last year Harada gave a little hint of somthing about his gaming cabinet and it was a Virtual Fighter arcade idk if that was a little hint of a upcomming DLC but i'm pretty sure it is well just gonna have to wait and see.......As a Leo main I would love to have Akira as a DLC 😂 I love the fighting style it's so dope
if the collab w/ Virtua fighter really happen, i think Akira will just be another Leo since they use a quite similar fighting style, if i can choose i think the best representative from VF is Leon cos his Mantis style is so original from VF
It is impossible that Akira could be a guest character in Tekken 8 because Leo Kliesen has Akira's fighting style and therefore if they put Akira in Tekken 8 he would look like a copy of Leo
Tekken has never in history had two characters with the same fighting style in the game simultaneously. It has never happened and never will.

Just because he wears a gi doesn't always mean he uses Karate. He uses Baji Quan, the same art as Leo and Julia.

Guys , let's think logically. First of all, they need to add the fighting styles that are still missing in Tekken. 1) Muay Thai like Bruce \ Fahkumram 2) Pencak Silat - his example fully uses Makishima you guys can check his fight you know 3) Mixed martial style - for example, taekwondo kicks + Wing Chun close combat + dodging and punches like boxing + Muay Thai. His example is Ayanokoji vs Ryuen. They also can add John Wick and it will give popularity. He also used Pencak silat, Aikido, etc!
Tekken should release Lucky Chloe to the furore of the audience and release another character… hahaha maybe a guest character like eve from scarlett blade
I think they're releasing Story DLC characters and i think the next might be Julia Chang cause she was important in The ogre's tekken 3 Lore
Akira is a strange one. Since a lot of his moves end in a different foot position, that would be the first challenge to overcome to make him work, since literally nobody in Tekken changes foot position and retains all their moves from that position.
(So no, Hwoarang doesn't count.)
Kazuma is another strange one. If Sega is willing to outright break Kazuma's code of honour and fight women (martial artists be damned), then sure whatever. But there are some hardcore Yakuza fans who would hate to see that happen.
Lots of red tape and hurdles, while also remembering that there are other popular Tekken characters currently missing.

Different forms of the same martial art, Akira's is more realistic, has grappling and it's aggressive, Leo's is more fantasy and the realistic moves she did have are gone outside of a couple that are still there.
