However the card did not work in Bangalore Metro. I think I need to go to Metro Counter and ask them to enable it first. This is biggest drawback of NCMC. Ideally NPCI must auto activate all NCMC operator services in the card by default

no. Kolkata Metro AFC reader gates are not NCMC enabled. They use NFC enabled own card known as Smart Card but not integrated with NCMC yet
