The "I Goto Work" routine from 2000 will always be my favorite, but this routine was really good as well. I felt sorry that Tierra couldn't perform due to an injury. Hopefully all will be well by next week.
I absolutely LOVE the 2000 routine; it's my favorite, too. Jsettes did a good job with this version of "I Go To Work."
Yasss the 99, 2000 routine was legend. This classic should always be done in Tiger Girl.
Amil Now Oh but 1999 will always reign supreme with this song. I love how they mixed "Cup Of Life" and "Wild Wild West" into the entire feature. Back on the day the J-Settes put on shows almost like a theater production. We need that back ASAP.
ILoveMyHIU OMG I've been saying that for years now!!!! 99 bodied every routine every single game. Back then, the settes had fans on their feet after a show. I wonder do these new girls look at archives like that? Hell, they need to and get that flare back lol
The Blue Uniform is better on the eye instead of the white.

WOW, the "GOT ME GOOD" sequences in this worked perfectly and sad Tierra wasnt in her first field show as captain! The Settes looks amazing, can't tell the crabs from the old-heads, this season will be EPIC!! #continuethelegacy @chloeisabeast
wow that amazin..and the cap wasn't even on the damn field....mostly crabs and a few old heads...yessssssss jsettes will kill this year.....
I've been waiting for a line brave enough to revamp this Classic. Job well done!

What I love most about the Settes is that they are the most fearless squad. They are not afraid to try new stunts and tricks that other squads would be afraid to do. That should be commended.
The opening of this routine made it seem like it was gonna be pretty good.....then we just got a cut and paste of the Got Me Good routine from last year......and the choreography, at that point, made hardly any sense with the music. I will give them that it was well-executed and energetic, but that's always the case with them. I just want them to step it up with the choreography
I think they have a tradition of redoing the previous year captain's choreography, Morgan J. used Charlotte's choreo for Knights by Night last year, and Charlotte used Ketta rountine from Honda 2011 the first couple games her season. Its prolly like a honoring thing for them. . .plus, the line can pick it up faster because the old heads already know it for the beginning of the season. ??? just a thought

Is it me or did the slender girl (captain T's friend that was up for captain too) who was i believe was the ace always a bit head of the beat? Nice energy though, but stood out for that reason that caught my eye

Refer to season 2000 footage of the routine performed, to this selection, as it relates to your current feature... In that footage, observe the energy and sync pattern. Overall, you look great ladies... Rock the House!!!!

ok ladies and gents.. can I be honest? This particular halftime performance had energy and razzmatazz!! I must admit this is what made me anticipate the Boombox Classic. What happened????

Could someone explain the move at 0:47-0:50? Jsettes did this same move in a field routine last year, and I thought it looked so dangerous. Are they landing flat on their back? Or are they suppose to be landing on their feet in a back bend and then sliding down to a flat back on the ground?
I personally think it should be taken out since clearly everyone isn't doing it the same.
To be honest, I think between the added adrenaline due to the faster tempo, most of the girls didn't proper land on their feet and slide out and landed straight on their backs, last year, Got Me Good tempo was a little slower so they had more time to properly execute it, even though the same happened with a couple of them. I'm sure they soaked in a nice hot bath afterwards. . .LOL
OneVoice412 I think the Jsettes did a great job with this routine, but I have to agree with you. Some look like they are falling straight on their backs; some look like they are landing on their behinds; a couple did a backbend and then laid on their backs; and a couple looked as if they did some kind of modified forward roll. IMO it looks like an injury waiting to happen.
Salsadivva This was a good routine. It just need to be polished up just a tad. If they jazz up the intro a bit and SERIOUSLY work on those flips, this classic routine could be a winner this season. But all-n-all, I enjoyed their show. Great job J-Settes.

So for the musicians....there was hell of decracendo's in this song......you better have a serious omiture...
Its hard when u have so much regard for the 2000 version of the routine...I can't look at this one without bias. To me this one had great stunts, but the timing was def off. Its like they said lets see how many stunts we can do without actually dancing.
That uniform hurts to look at
