Vic went to school and tried initially getting not so great acting roles. Roles that focused on his looks only. Thankfully Jerry Yan who was initially offered the role Mars turned it down to focus on working on music taking lessons and working in the studio. Thus the role of Mars went to Vic who proved to be a great actor. Jerry's work on music the next 3 years proved highly successful.
