Three of these guys came from broken families where the father and mother divorced and separated. Jerry family was dirt poor. Vic went to live with his father. Vaness went from America to Taiwan. Jerry worked hard studying and making money doing menial jobs. He saved up enough money to start his own store only to be tricked by his former boss who took all his money. However this changed the direction of Jerry's future. He went on to be a model and his image attracted Angie Cai who was to produce Meteor Garden. Vic went to school and tried initially getting not so great acting roles. Roles that focused on his looks only. Thankfully Jerry Yan who was initially offered the role Mars turned it down to focus on working on music taking lessons and working in the studio. Thus the role of Mars went to Vic who proved to be a great actor. Jerry's work on music the next 3 years proved highly successful. His debut album Jerry for you won Best Album and Best Newcomer at the major awards show held in China. Jerry went on touring much of Asia selling out many shows and he became a superstar.

I love them all. they all have different personalities but ken and vanness sound very smart and intelligent.
