Thank you so much. I tried all the methods I'd already found, including buying the special thin tool to hold the spindle still but that was too soft & didn't hold the spindle still. Thanks to you I just prised it off. So simple!!!

Hello, very interesting, thank you. Do you know if there are replacement blade assemblies for these blenders? I have this blender, but the spindle in the blade assembly appears to be broken. I can spin the blade either way (by hand), but the gear on the bottom does not move. What it means is when it is on the blender, the gear will move, but the blade will not. I'd hate to discard the blender. Thanks.
