I lived in Escanaba from 1960 til 1972, having immigrated from England as a child. I went to St. Patrick's from 3-8 and Holy Names for 9th grade. Then I moved away for the reason you mentioned. I love living on the remote Pacific Northwest coast now, but treasure my time and memories from my Escanaba days. The Centennial celebration in 62 was tremendous fun, as was the county fair. I look for videos about the old days back in Esky. Thanks for posting this one!

My Mother was born and raised here and I've visited twice, once when I was 6 and once when I was 16 and haven't been lucky enough to be back and I'm almost 40 and my Aunt is up in age and my other two Aunts have since passed away and I want to go back before this Aunt passes

I seen allot of people and cars I know in this video- lmaoooo
City of Escanaba is broke.
They have no funds for repairs or new projects. Town is going under so quickly.
Sad Escanaba will never advance into anything great.
