- They rescue, protect and take of endangered Grey Crowned Crane Birds who were saved from illegal domestication or abuse. Many of these birds cannot fly anymore. Umusambi Village is a beautiful 21-hectare nature reserve and a great touristic activity not far from Kigali. Just a nice place to visit and get educated about Rwanda's wildlife conservation efforts.

Hi, my name is Theo Mutesa. I was born in Rwanda, but like many Rwandans, my family fled the country in 1994 and we eventually ended up in the Netherlands. That is where I grew up and lived for the past 20 years until 2019. Question: Were you speaking Swahili or Kinyarwandan at the beginning? Should I try to learn Swahili first, since it is a more widely spoken language in Africa?? Thanks Theo!
I was speaking Kinyarwanda. But swahili is spoken alot in mostly kenya en tanzania. But if you recommend you to learn the language of where you are going to based mostly. It's so much easier to excel that way
