This is my theory from the short anime film, "Shelter". The girl named Rin has the tablet which can control everything, but then one day when she didn't draw anything on the tablet, a town/street appeared, then she saw a little girl, let's skip, so on the girls birthday, she got a teddy bear. In the start of the video there was a teddy bear in the corner, so we know that this is the same girl. Then the dad saw on a satellite camera that another planet was going to hit Earth, so then he started building a pod for her daughter, the pod could only carry one person so the dad got left behind. He did that so Rin can be the only human left, he programmed the tablet to send a message on her birthday and showed her what really happened. In the end, it showed a 17 year old girl with wires in her, this was because her dad programmed the thoughts and everything in her mind. The pod won't stop until it reaches a planet.
