After full payment these young men decided to visit their sites, and at their arrival met some of these land guards with guns and sharp machetes, with several gun shots and threats, my friend says he doesn't recall how he managed to drive his way out of the place unto the main road till today.

Why land guards in the first place ! The govt should have regulations on lands , no one can buy or sell lands unless title is available and transferable and also to be verified and confirmed by the buyer at the lands commission before purchasing takes place with an official or regulating body notorizing the transaction , then buyer takes document to a lawyer to start transfer process. It's that simple and our govt and their degrees can't seem to think or do what's right for the citizens. The corruption is too much , how can one sell a land to multiple people !!! I think this land guard business all started as a result of Kings selling same land to two or more people. If every land should have been sold accordingly, no one would have gone in for a land guard. I blame the kings not the land guards cuz they're reason all these started.

Buyers usually get problem when they buy family land. Family members usually challenge the sale of the land. It has happened in many places in Accra. The GaDangme people are not many.
