Awesome series on tree pruning. I knew to prune close to a node and to leave the branch collar. However, all the information on how to properly shape a tree was extremely helpful. I have a young tree on my yard that wasn't quite the way I wanted it, but I was apprehensive about pruning because I didn't want to screw it up. Armed with your series, I went out today and made several cuts and i think I did a good job. The most important thing I did was stop.
Thanks for the lessons. I wrote some notes as a starting tree care worker. The neat groupings of items was easy to jot down and examples mixed concepts to consider them differently.

Outstanding presentation! I'm a renter and we had to have a poor tree removed. Now it's regrowing...concerned.
