Great Job Anup, I love all the power you put behind your hits. You might like S-Hoops on your snare, they sit a tad lower on the drum with a completely rounded (inward) edge. Which means you could put an O-ring on top and it'll never fall out. Pretty kool option. I've been usin them for years and they give the snare Mega Pop and a Natural EQ. Takes out some of the harshness of any drum. Keep killin it man.
Oooh you got the new classics custom dark crashes, @asdrummer2008 how do these hold up?? I was browsing these a few weeks ago but now I'm strongly considering.
API 2500 followed by an EQ boosting by about half a dB around 200 Hz and another shelf at the top boosting about 1.5 dB. The rest of the tone really comes from my room mic's.
He's been using speed cobras for quite some time now. If I could make a recommendation. Buy speed cobras if you're looking for the best feeling of your life!
No it doesn't bother me. Its probably because I don't play as hard on my kit on a regular basis unless Im recording drums/videos for heavier styles of music. So its not a regular thing for that crash to hit my hi hats. And before recording videos, I never remember to raise the stand...

I honestly just really like how they sound and feel. My favorite hats are these 13" Byzance hats that Im using in this video, or the new 15" Pure Alloy hats. I barely use 14" hats now, not saying that 14's aren't ok.
