Mr. Dolby, thank you for your comments on this song. My late brother would have been 50 years old yesterday, and I was coming home from a bar awash in post Christmas melancholy at 1:30 AM on his birthday when this song came on the radio. WNKU. I feel that it was him speaking to me in his somewhat dark humor that was so entertaining. In many ways he was my evil twin brother, although one year older. We lost him to AIDS in '96 on our wedding anniversary (That was Eric!) and he was a big big Thomas Dolby fan. Congratulations on continuing to provide your innovative and humorous music, and having great talent surrounding you. Please keep moving, never stop.
Kevin, there's a certain clenched-jaw way you and Mat have of singing "... mustabinnnn mahh ..." that is very reminiscent of M.J. -- we of the Poison River Delta love it, you guys really rock the house on this one!
Love the compact and excellent musicianship everyone. This song kicks Thomas! Great licks all around guys. Yes the 'danger of the moment' re: soloing absolutely Kevin understood but it really worked tremendously. You are "evil triplets" you lot! :) Must work on getting a rig like you've got Thomas for doing some live performance. I have been itching like hell to get out and do some performing. This song really gave me courage to start work on some live presentations of my songs. Cheers guys. RMB
Kevin Armstrong one of my all time favourite guitarists! Even the simplest licks are just great!

Absolute genius and I can't believe this is six years old as I type this!
It's still amazing now...in 2024!

Wowie! Love the keyboard solo that then leads into Kevin's great guitar solo :)
Sublime throughout!
Fabulous. Thanks for sharing :-) Especially liking the musicians' comments and techniques. Inspirational.
