Great video of my favorite town. I first visited Essex in 1990 and dined at the Griswold inn which looks just as nice now as it was back then. After showing your video to my wife we may head down for a visit ourselves. Thank you!

Lovely video. Have been to the Griswold Inn a few times for lunch and it is very charming and cozy, just like the town of Essex. I have not been doing anywhere near as much since the pandemic started, so it is really nice to tour places with you!
Hi great video and I know it’s a few years old but would you have any recommendations for lodging in Essex besides griswolds? Would love to eat there though and we are doing the steam train and boat ride - thanks!
Hello. Sorry I just saw this. I was staying at waters edge in Westbrook at the time which is about a 30 min drive but it’s lovely. I’m not familiar with any other properties in Essex. Have a wonderful time!
