I've been doing galakrond rogue to moderate success against shaman. They can't deal that well with an early questing or edwin, and you have a slight chance of out-valuing them if it goes long.
Shaman is actually ruining my experience a little bit :\ You can't clear 2-4 8/8's multiple times WHILE healing out of the range of their 2+ claws thanks to shudderwock + keeping up with the constant 2 damage guys that clear your board. The friggen 5 drop can clear a mountain giant while leaving a 3/3 behind and buffing your galakrond to full power??? why??? You can't even make a board in preparation cause 8/8 rushes will clear whatever shitty thing you do in comparison. I put 2 twisting nether in my handlock just to deal with it and it still wasn't enough because of the claw pressure + barista lynchen giving a THIRD shudderwock :\ While other decks seem strong too, the only time I haven't been enjoying the game is when Shaman pops up. It feels genuinely helpless, even if you play an aggro deck.
Surprisingly I found out Chef Nomi Priest also ruins Shamans. So if you wanna beat them gotta play two decks with no new cards. Holy Wrath Pally or Chef Nomi Priest.
The 5 drop does not clear a Mountain Giant alone (if you mean Corrupt Elementalist). It summons two 2/1 rush minions, that's 4 damage total, while a giant has 8 life.
@@Orromwan He's talking about in combination with the quest. I think it's the most problematic card in shaman as it can fully upgrade galakrond on its own. It really should just invoke once and have it's stats adjusted to a 4/4 or 5/5.
The real problem is shaman being the only class with double invoke. That's way too powerful a move for one card, especially if it then summons you 2 rush minions. I expect a nerf for that one.

I am beginning to think whoever had the brilliant idea that was Charge needs to go but Rush should be printed on every card that doesn't have taunt... Should probably be taken off the design staff.
How did this deck get past testing? All the Shaman cards are twice as good as other classes. And they got added to a previously broken deck. Rank 50 designers...

His opponent shouldn't have dumped so much onto the board. He didn't play around Mogu. The longer similar decks are in the meta, the more people will learn how to play around decks which are powerful.
@@derekdunbar4694 The thing is: a player should not be punished by being ahead in the game. Not playing a lot of minions because of mogu is irrelevant when shaman can create 3 creatures out of an invoke card and infinite lakeys. Mogo + mutate is just as bad as CC mage.
it's nice to see someone skipping the honeymoon period indifference/denial and going straight to the point... not only is Shaman the best deck in the game again for like the 10th time in Standard's life span, it's further ahead of the pack than ever before. Disgusting.
It was about as bad in ONIK, where shamans just had cards that are better than other classes and neutral cards at every turn of the game. Other classes had like 50/50 class cards and neutral cards, just shaman had 29 class cards.dec.
I mean, treat druid can’t do anything against this deck. Not fast enough and the rush boys are just too efficient. I think the 2/1s just shouldn’t have rush. Deck needs some weakness.
Y'all the expansion hasn't even been out a week. Give people some time to figure out the meta. Just because shaman has plays and synergies which are obviously powerful doesn't mean it's over powered or even the most powerful archetype.
The data proves that this is the most powerfull deck in the history of the game. They already annouced a nerf. It is ruining player experience for everyone. It is just as non interactive as Conjurer's calling mage, but worse. Only combo decks stand a chance. Everything else loses.

Maybe he makes so much money that $100 doesnt register? Or is he so stuck on playing, that it just doesnt register cuz hes said it a million times over the years? Interesting to think about anyways.
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't that just mean they've _been_ subscribed for 20 months? So he's just refreshing his subscription and paying $5. Also streamers don't see all of the money from subs, it's nowhere near $100.
@@eewweeppkk It starts at $2.50 per sub for affiliates but I believe partners get better rates as their channel grows, so it's still somewhere between $50 and $100. But yeah, each individual contribution is spread out over time and there are so many subs and donations per stream for someone like Firebat that it's not surprising he doesn't get worked up over every single one anymore. It would be like someone with a traditional punch clock job cheering every hour, obviously they're going to appreciate the full paycheck but each individual dollar that goes into wouldn't warrant celebration.
Blizzard has made conditional card that are just as good as their non-conditional counterparts without meeting the condition.
Love me some blizz, they always make me laugh.
