at 18:20 you KO a 9 cost card when the Henchmen escape. In the Marvel game it has to be a card costing 6 or less (I can't find the JB rules online) - is that a change in this edition? Thank you for the playthrough!
Welcome back and thanks for the playthrough! Looks exactly like the other Legendary games with a few new mechanics thrown in (love the escalating villain deck idea). Great for the 007 fans out there but not enough to for me to get this in addition to Marvel.
At 18:05, you said that if a Villain "has multiple Gadgets, then discard multiple cards." However, page 9 of the rulebook says: "Each player only discards one card, no matter how many Gadgets were acquired." If it is different for this particular game because of the Mastermind or Scheme, please point this out. I did not see where you discarded multiple cards in the video, but I want to make sure those who are watching realize this rule.
Thanks for making this video, we absolutely love this game! One question at round 07:30: Haven't Henchmen cards always been considered villains in Legendary? We've been playing it so that Henchmen get the gadgets attached when Master Strikes show up too.
Huh! Not sure since I just assumed since they are henchmen they are not villains. If henchman are considered villains in Marvel I'd assume that would be the case here! Sorry about that!
@@OneStopCoopShop No worries, just wanted to make sure. :) It's not cut and dry either. In Marvel Legendary, the card type is called Henchman Villain, which is printed on the cards, this is not the case here. Then again, the villain cards in Bond don't say villain on them either, so who knows! Reading the Mastermind card, though, it specifies that missions don't get gadgets, which made us assume that missions were the only exceptions. This makes for some very powerful henchmen eventually!
@@OneStopCoopShop i bet you could mix up the cards from Legendary DC into the 007 game and play it seamlessly. Better yet - just cover up the stock photos on two Legendary games (DC vs 007), play them separately, and not be able to tell the difference between the two - or care. Wiz Kids Mage Knight and Star Trek, if you strip away the themes, at least you could say the games are about "exploration and killing monsters". If you take away the themes from the Legendary games and attempt to the describe the game, it would be something like "accumulating player points to defeat villain points before the timer causes you to lose". It's kind of why Marvel Champions is an uninteresting game (though that game does a better job of linking card effects with card theme/subject matter), but at least that game gives you nice comic book art on the cards instead of stock photos.
@@blind_surgeon LMAO. I don't think Legendary want to damage their sales. Perhaps they will suggest a third party brings out a 'woke' expansion, with a black lesbian Bond, a Muslim Bond, a non binary bond and a Trans bond. I'd be interested to see the sales figures on that.
10:16 Unless it's a rules change for this version of Legendary, I think I'd have picked up that Grenade Pen too.
Oh I love that they used the old movie shots.
Yeah, they really dropped the ball with Aliens and Firefly, the terrible art in those instead of photos means they are a hard p[ass for me.
I agree KOing the starter cards is key. Occasionally you're getting great, explosive turns, but inconsistently.
Yeah those starter cards slow you down. Next video will show a little more consistency!
Looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing!
Appreciate you watching!!
Thanks for the playthrough. I will be playing this weekend. 😀
Have fun!!
Definitely a must-get for me! Thanks for doing this, Colin!

That has NOT changed you are right!! Forgot about that! I will make a note, thanks!
Welcome back Colin! With a cool game!
Thanks Franck! Good to hear from you!
@@OneStopCoopShop Same here Colin!

Henchmen are considered villains. Look in the rulebook page 8.
Not sure at 6mins you fought the squeeze card onatop. As soon as its defeated can you not repopulate qbranch and then spend your recruit points
I think your right it should refresh right away thanks!
Do you préfère this one or X file ?
Never played xfile so can't say
Ohhh boy, was gonna get this but seems too much, soooo confused
Sorry to hear that is really straight forward!
coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolin
Screen caps? Bummer.
I know - it is based off a movie, and personally this is better than what they did to Firefly! :)
@@OneStopCoopShop Yes, terrible art is worse than screen caps, but even mediocre art is better.
@@mgk2020 So true!! Well take it for what it is I guess!
Id rather watch the movies or play a better game like aeons end
I get that!
stupid game where mechanics have nothing to do with the theme. explains why it can be swapped out with marvel or anything else for that matter.
Highly disagree but that's just me

A hope there is an option to be a black female Bond.
I wish. . . :( Sadly no
But I want to be a gender fluid Bond!
Thank god this is pre 'woke' nonsense.
I really hope you're all being sarcastic
