Although I am not a huge fan of Castrol power 1 but it helps the service cost in check.... After 4th service we can opt for motul 7100 Or 300V... Most important : It is much cheaper to maintain this beauty over BMW 310s

I'm pretty sure that's a standard oil filter, probably a small car oil filter that matches this would work fine at 1/3 the cost but then again i wouldn't take that risk until ik for certain that it wouldn't be a problem

Castrol Power 1 Ultimate 10w50 comes in two types. One is for Sportbike and one is their flagship for Superbikes. Next time if possible ask them to use the "Superbike" one.I highly recommend you to use Motul 300V or even 7100 as they are group 4 Easter based oils compared to group 3 of Castrol. Believe me you will feel a day night difference in those two oils. Thanks for the video and here's the like bro 👍
If you don’t mind there is suggestion from my side after warranty period is done trying using motul 300v2 engine oil you will observe the difference but it’s really costly if you want you can try and you are delivering great content on regular bases kudos to you🎉🎉🎉🎉 Top ups etc.. are done for free because they have covered it’s price in oil filter it’s really expensive man 😂😂

I just want to say that I recently came across this vlog by maxxpace where he took his Aprilia RS 457 to it's first service and they actually took Rs. 149/- incl GST for coolant top up and Rs. 370 for Lubrication and chain cleaning. My point is...only some Aprilia is doing this for free, as they don't know, well you may be the lucky one.😅 thank you

Edit: reply nhi add ho raha to yaha daal raha hu. 300v doesn’t have and jaso and api certification its just an racing oil which needs to change consistently. 300v is racing oil and made for high rev if you doing that then you have to change it frequently. i have changed it within 2000kms the oil itself was in good condition but the engine wasn’t. I felt vibration issues then I decided to change it also I faced oil level issues i have to topup within 1000kms. Im not saying the oil is bad even it was green and smells sweet after draining. 300v not meant for how i ride my bike its race oil and good for high rev band and for those who don’t care about their engines and vibrations and just want performance. I myself a mechanic and I have done 87k kms one of my motorcycle. I always used 7100. when the the oil stopped importing from foreign then I put 300v which imported from France. It wasn’t that good for me as i told. Nowadays motul making oil in Mumbai and not importing 7100 from Vietnam. For 300v as i told before it doesn’t have any api or jaso certification which is a basic requirement for the engines. Now im using liqui moly which is imported from Germany it has Api SN plus certification . I feel liqui moly performs better than motul also dont have to topup like 300v and its my 4th time i used liqui moly last week. And after 4k-5k i will again use liqui moly.
@@swarajroy5631 you dont have change it consistently depending upon how you use your motorcycle. It has shown good numbers in lab test post 2500km. Also the gear shifts are very smooth and bike becomes extremely responsive.

Power1 ultimate is different than other variants. I've personally been a long term user of Motul 7100 & 300V2...But after giving one go at Power1 ultimate from Castrol, now I've shifted to Castrol only. The performance boost, gear shift amoothness, vibration reduction is definitely noticeable.

Three comments on the video. 1. The air filter, which is made of paper, is never cleaned or blown with compressed air. If this is done, it can be thrown away immediately. Sports filters that are not made of paper but of metal, they are cleaned and can be used for many years. 2. Grinding brake pads shortens the service life of brake pads. Totally unnecessary, especially since it is a new motorcycle with new brake discs. 3. As for the oil, it all depends on what the motorcycles will be used for. If it will be used for racing, then something in the style of 300V is recommended, but you should know that 300V and all oils based on that should be changed every 3000 km because they slowly lose their properties. Such oils are made to reduce friction as much as possible, but that is why they do not contain a large amount of engine cleaning additives. If the motorcycles will be used for city driving and intercity driving, you should get something like the 7100, which can be used for at least 6000 km without changing. In the end, good luck and many kilometers
Bro, I do not commute in city regularly and I'm looking for more for Sunday ride and touring. Does while riding this beast for touring, is it painful for the back and shoulder because of little aggressive or committed riding posture - say for eg., 300 to 500 kms ride. Your honest feedback will help me. Thanks
You will get used to the riding position, it's not that aggressive, but definitely more committed than a naked bike....I am able to do 80km a day, so am sure you will be able to do it, if you have the passion to ride

Ktm oil filter is 106 rupees. U can get 10-11 for that price. Maybe a bit too expensive.
whats the max speed u did before the service (i know the max is 190kmh but in the first 1000km i wouldnt go over 110kmh or 120kmh)

I'm going to Put Motul from 1st Service onwards. Castrol is not good with my early experience.
They won't let you . and if you do not service from SC in the warranty period at the specific intervals then your warranty is void

No rev limiter, it revs till 10500 max
Rev limiter is always set at 10500 as stock from the factory, it does not change at the service, even not it goes up to 10500 rpm

Oil filter is too costly . Tvs ones cost 300 something as someone said, RE 650 series costs 450 . All of them are can/container/car type oil filters
You can use HF 138 oil filter it will half the price

Next time when you change your engine oil go for motul 300v 10w 50 or the 300v2 its the best in the market your bike will turn into a beast

Piaggio is written on the oil filter box, Aprilia is under the parent company Piaggio
