- Join us for a UTV review and comparison of the New 2019 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Northstar model as I take a ride in the rain down the driveway! Now you might say 'so what? down the driveway? For real?' Well, seeing how our driveway is a mile long, and my wife was out in her Intimidator UTV while it was raining also, this was a perfect time to compare the usefulness of having a UTV with a cab while driving in the rain! Of course, we added some Fun, a little sarcasm, but a great comparison to show exactly WHY we choose the equipment that we choose. i hate when people look down on someone for what they buy. we got our cub cadet for plowing and work and a little bit of fun, and people kept saying why did you waste your money on that, that is a waste of money, but i tell them what i have done with it and that shuts them up. i wish i could of got what you have, but i am happy we were able to get something.
Kudo Shinichi I have a Cub Cadet 750 Challenger EPS with power angle plow and I do all kinds of work with it...plow snow with it..use it everyday... and ride trails almost every weekend with my buddies and I’ve pulled a few of those other brands out of the woods more than once...they’ve never had to pull me out yet...so don’t let it bother you!!!
@@aceofspades9785 im not, like i said, i am happy with it, i just wish it had a hard cab you can get with it, with a glass windshield and wiper, mine has the smaller doors and stuff.

Love your UTV. I was planning on Can AM but after I watched your videos it made sense that the Polaris Ranger XP was the best choice. I saw a cool U- shaped rack u can install on the bed to add shovel, other tools and gas/water cans on sides.

Joe that was funny! I have the wifi Chamberlain rubber track drive opener on my 10’ spare garage door.
It has a battery backup in case power goes out. The last SUN day we had, I left the door open all day planting grass seed etc. A bird built a huge nest on top of opener and it was giving a warning code on phone. The nest was so thick it was even down into both lights and overheated battery so it shut down charging and turned off lights. Removed nest and started working right away. Something one would not think about.
Being disabled I understand. I am on a walker and pain is my control. I do what I can and some days that is only the necessary things. Enjoy while you can.

Especially after you'd flash back to Mrs K. and then back to you hauling a$$ down the lane. Nope, I don't think so, Kap. That box ain't full of colored balloons. You keep flashing back at Mrs K's rain-filled side-by-side and I'm expecting to see the next shot of her whacking you in the arm. You could have at least given her an umbrella. Full watch and loved it. Later.

Your video reminds me when we was clearing path once hurricane came.through in Texas. Guy has big ol front loader tires huge bud had cab on it in ac while regular folks were on ground lol.. his dad laughed said he got the good end of stick lmao.. be awaiting for weeks if dependent on city or state. 9/10 folks already had houses rigged for generators of some sort

Wipers work cool...Yes Mrs. Kapper a little rain is not going to cause you to melt. I like the little dripping raindrops you caught on video. Are you a little sore Mr, Kapper after your procedure? Just subscribed, Great videos. Ok, now that you’ve had the Polaris for about a year, how about a review of it. Your likes and dislikes. Have you had to do any repairs? I’m seriously thinking of buying the same model. But but I’m worried about reliability. I’m in Arizona and can’t get stuck (mechanical problems) in the middle of the desert miles from nowhere! Is there a valid reason why the wipers are mounted too the top instead of the bottom of the window.
Yes barry I was wondering this too,..mounted at the bottom would give a cleaner sweep wouldn't it? The way the wiper is mounted here, reminds me of my CJ2A!
barry hansen I can answer that one for you it has a swing out windshield! You’ll notice it open on the end of this video (during credits)
Yes there is a reason cuz. That windshield u can open upright or close. So the wipers are at top connected to the windshield smile
How is the cam on keeping dust out ? And second how has your AC worked for you ? I have seen some say that is really dont work that great when its 90 degrees outside ? I am looking at the 2021 polaris like yours and the Canam HD 10
I have not ridden in dust much so I can't say, but the AC has been great, even real hot and humid. Good luck. We love it for sure

OK 25 grand and you can drive it in the rain okay maybe worth the money , but I will stick with my 2021 Mule pro FX with Seizmik upper sealed doors for 6 grand less

Car like qualities, Heat, A.C., wipers, in Tennessee you put a plate and insurance, good for the average road. If I lived there. In Florida no, heck no, you are illegal on any public road. Florida passed a law years ago to legalize ATVs on dirt roads during daylight only and then kept the ability of Counties to opt out. Guess what the local counties did? NO, state law out the window. WALK or BICYCLE. Sport Mode, Standard Mode, Low Range. Ever wish these had a quiet mode?

Never had a problem with the A/C keeping up! Been stellar so far in the heat! Good luck! This is a great machine!
