What I love about this clip is that it fits so perfectly with her character. They didn't let her come in and just be amazing at it but she approached it like a dancer trying to learn choreography, she watched not only him but the other dancers around her.
Yes! I agree! I HATE when a character comes into a situation and asked to participate in something, they're always like "no no I dunno how" then two seconds later, they're doing it as if they've been doing it since coming out of the womb.
I've always said that blacks and whites were getting along just fine and thriving together through the late nineties to the mid-2000s but the government had to stick their nose in where they don't belong
I love how when he realizes Sarah isn’t the dancer the way she thought she was at least in this type of dance style, he was very gentle and began teaching her.
This movie really epitomized that time. It was pretty well done with two good leads who connected and had chemistry. They each had what the other lacked and needed and I liked that it showed their cultural differences but how they supported each other and were able to bring out the best in each other.
What I love about this clip is that, earlier in the movie, she said she could dance circles around him. He was like, okay we'll see. Then he ends up dancing circles around her. LOL
Derek is really what men should strive to be. Born without privilege didn’t make excuses and achieved wonders with hard work. He also treat his girl like a Queen and doesn’t let anyone tell him who to love and not love.
🤣 wow she was a tad bit embarrassing with it but her foot work was pretty good considering the fact that she is in Ballet so she has to follow steps all the time anyway but it was nice that Derrick was patient enough to teach her how to stay on beat in that moment.
A Very Good Movie. The Actress Julia Stiles was very Talented, shame she is no longer Active in the Industry. She Was n Is Such A "BABE" As for The young man who played Derek's role? He was also very Good? Though I do not know His Name. That Entire Cast was very Exceptional, for the Story of the Film. As I felt it was Produced & Directed, too portray the Story of Thier Lives. I thoroughly have enjoyed that Movie many, many times!! Since it's release so Long ago. Thank You for the Memory, & the short Clip. Wyoming, Robert,🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸👍👀👀🤔🤔📸💭📸👍🙏🙏🙏
is nobody going to mention what a dope track that is? Da Rockwilder. Doc and Meth are both part of the 90's themselves. That track is fire. Cheesy movie. Dope soundtrack.
When this came out I had zero interest in watching a “chick flick” but this girl I was trying to get with was into it so of course we went. 😂 It ended up being a lot better than I thought it would be. There were some heavy themes in this movie, and it touched on a few things I never considered before.

Exactly.

She Acted Frankly Very Smart.

Black men are everything but honest or caring.
Hope you find that one day 😌 it's difficult to find the right person you just click with and you know it's who your meant to be with.
Nikki is pissed but she has nobody to blame but herself
What I love about this clip is that, earlier in the movie, she said she could dance circles around him. He was like, okay we'll see. Then he ends up dancing circles around her. LOL
But in the end, she blended both their styles into a stellar performance...
😊
I like when their practicing dance in an empty room&she dances in a circle of ballae around him then he shows off a couple of moves back!
