I would get a flat blade shovel and some fire brick down on the ground and get a fire going and shovel the coals in the grill as you go. Or even some kind of a steel surface to have a fire going and use just the clean coals. It doesn’t work real good by throwing fresh chunks of wood on all the time. You end up with dirty smoke and a bitter smoke on your food. If you use just coals. You’ll end up with a real nice light blue smoke. Check out how snow‘s barbecue does it and other Texas barbecue places. They burn a ton of firewood to yield about 30% calls to cook with.
I sure do not have any sources in the UK. I got mine at a local Home Depot here and that was the only store that carries this model here. God luck to you and thanks for watching!
Ken, I absolutely love that grill ! You look like a kid at Christmas with that smile on your face ! Plenty of cooking area and who doesn’t love wings ! Great job Ken !
That's a cool grill Ken. I'm gonna have to make one of those. Wings looked great. I think I know what I'm having for supper tonight. Have a great weekend brother.
That kudu grill looks so cool Ken, definitely nice cooking over live fire! I see they gave you a towel too. :) Those wings came out great, I hear you on the wind. Looking forward to the review and more cooks. Have a great weekend brother!
It was fun to cook on and the flavor is so much better cooking over wood! Takes longer getting a coal base but if you have time... it’s worth it! Thanks, my friend!
This grill is designed to be basically a open camp fire cook with legs for fat guys like me. Lol there is some truth to what you say, but for us older guys who like an open fire cook, it is awesome!
Not at all. Every South African has a similar setup. This grill (Braai) is inspired by the myriad of designs in South Africa. Many home made, some commercial.
true passion
Thanks so much!
I didn't know about these 2 days ago now I'm obsessed and RUclips suggestions like this video keep popping up

I agree, if you can do that… do it. Ideally, you would have a side fire to one side on this grill just for that. Thanks for watching!
How difficult is it to raise and lower the grill?
It’s not bad at all. I had some issues in the beginning, but once I figured it out… no problems! Thanks for stopping by!
I want to buy one but I can’t find it in the UK. Any ideas where I can source one please?

Kudos on the Kudu grill amigo.

Cool grill!
Thanks buddy!
Nice cook Ken for your first time grilling on the KUDU.
Just ordered a KUDU and your video came up in my search for KUDU how to's.
Oh cool, Joe! I love mine, but I still very much consider myself a student on it. I call it my old man friendly camp fire. Lol
That is the exact design I was talking about using a fireplace, swing out surfaces.
That’s funny... I thought about that while I was cooking. Lol Thanks!
Congrats on your new grill! Looks like the design was well thought out. Definitely quite versatile.
Thank you! I love the design!
Marker 6:50 HEY! don't turn those legs, they are great but still need time to turn.
Lol... looking back at it,!tend to agree. Thanks!
Well no problem I called them legs so it’s gracious of you not to point it out. Take care. My Breeo Is on its way

Nah... I had to buy the towels. I thought they looked cool. Lol Thanks, buddy... I the wings came out great!
I’m really diggin’ that new grill! May have to start saving all my extra pennies for one of those. The wings looked great! Nice job 👍🏻

Thanks, my friend!
I like the concept, but the way that its so open it looks like it would burn coals & wings too fast which would be a waste of money in my opinion.
