    The only real add-on lens I've ever used is the amazing Tele 1.5 Lens #119 for the SX-70. When I was doing a shoot at a Levi's event in Topanga Canyon I could go from wider group portraits to single artist portraits super quick and easy with that lens and having a tele that's about a 70mm (35mm equiv) on a Polaroid made my frames stand out from the norm as not many people shoot with it.

    • @LucyLumen
      @LucyLumen  2 года назад

      Wow that is super cool! I never knew these existed at all let alone for a Polaroid that is so cool! Loved how easy it was to change the lens I always avoid doing that out and about with SLR's normally. I just think these are so cool even just to own. Thanks for watching and showing us aussies lots of love :)

      @@LucyLumen I have a thing for good photos that isolate elements of architecture. I'm not very good at that but you can really use the lines, and natural elements of symmetry for some amazing photos.

      luxlumen.bandcamp.com/album/analog-adventures-volume-one You can check out some of Lux's music here on bandcamp. I keep telling him he should update it and put more of his music on there but he hasn't done it! I wonder if other people would like to have different styles of music for their channels? We have provided music for another channel recently. He is very talented and able to make such diverse sounds! I am very lucky. Oh and yes def get some of these aux lenses they are super cool! :)

    I have a few auxiliary lenses for some of my Polaroid cameras - and for a Lomo Instant Wide camera as well. I love shooting with them (especially the Polaroid lenses) now , that I have found out how to best use them.

    • @LucyLumen
      @LucyLumen  2 года назад +1

      Thank you:) Somebody else commented saying they used aux lenses for their polaroid too! I had no idea aux lenses or converters were even a thing. So easy to just clip it on as well, I love anything that is easy and doesn't get in the way of actually taking pictures! Thanks for watching lovely :)

    Thanks for the recommendation.
    I used my Nikon L35AF when I do not want to use my Leica M6 with 35mm lens in a hostile environment where the camera and lens were likely to get lost, damaged, or stolen.
    The 24mm or 28mm supplemental wide-angle lens and the supplemental 50mm normal lens that you recommend look useful but the loss of one f/stop of light is not worth it for me.

    Hey Lucy, dig the the L35 range and all the accompanying vids you've made. I've got the (perhaps kookier) last gen AD3 and was wondering if the auxiliary lenses for the 1st or 2nd gen would fit it at all? Can't tell online :)

    • @LucyLumen
      @LucyLumen  Год назад

      Hey, the form factor is pretty different between the original L35 and the later models so unfortunately I really don’t think they would be compatible. There is a twin lens version that might be a better or easier option.

    Hey Lucy! I currently just shot my L35AF test roll to see if it works. I used a roll with 24 exposures, I was wondering if yours does that too? Or is that going to be a problem?

    • @LucyLumen
      @LucyLumen  2 года назад +1

      Hello 👋🏻 that’s so exciting you have one of these cameras! 24 exposure rolls are fine no stress at all I have shot plenty through mine. Just look at your counter to check which frame you are in and when you hit 24 or even 25 just flip the camera over and just push the two button sequence on the bottom of the camera to rewind the film! You will hear it as it’s happening it’s super loud haha. Hope the photos come out! Feel free to share with me on IG if you like! 👍🏻🙋🏻‍♀️🎞📸

      @@LucyLumen I was being so hasty my comment didnt even make sense LOL. I meant to ask if there was a signal if youre at the last exposure on your roll. Because when I wasnt cautious I shot til like 28 exposures and it kept going. I was worried because it didnt stop or anything. I was wondering if youve been in that situation too. I really enjoy your vids btw! Ill share my photos when I get them back for sure!
