I just moved back home few months ago to Liberia after living in America for 37 years. I was taken to America by my parents as a child. Since I moved home I LOVE ❤️ it. I'm building my beach house in the village. So serene, clean, quiet and beautiful. I can't wait to live my simple village off grid life, growing my own food. ❤❤❤😊😊

ABUNDANCE: part of the reason melanated people struggle to compete in the 'dog eat dog' world is because we were always surrounded by abundance.

Interestingly in 2008 when the Zimbabwean economy and dollar tanked, the people in the rural areas got richer, nothing beats planting your own food, having your own poultry, garden for greens, cattle etc.in Rural areas inflation doesnt really hit as hard as in urban areas.

Baba Credo Muthwa, one of the greatest seers in SA predicted that Black Americans would move to the country in droves and have a huge contribution to the development of the country. That the countries tourism sector will grow to unprecedented levels once we include the rural areas in it. 👏👏👏this is a spiritual movement, you are part of something so great!😍❤

Stop hallucinating. SA would be nothing without Boers and the British. Diversity must be cherished.

We are a community not this American mentality of living in silos. We in Africa love the community and that is why we see 15 people in one house hold not American where you live by yourself and you have no one to talk to.

You nailed Lady A. Community is everything. We share, comune, we sing laugh and dance. Under the African sun. I'm proud of The Sithole family for this lovely experience. It's extraordinary.

This is beautiful ... Personally I enjoyed watching the village vlogs ... you seemed so chilled and "free". You're right the beauty of the land always leaves me in Awe. Moreover tapping into our roots is vital, Iit's what keeps us grounded and close to God. You know when the bible says Love the Lord with all your heart and love thine neighbour as you love yourself - The ideal Village life, that's Abantu, that's Africa.

Ow Sister Ashely. May the powerful force of life always lift your spirit high and guide you towards the truth in divinity of your being. You represent the pioneers that will emancipate millions of people in the future through spiritual bondage. You spoke words that invoked "UbuNtu" or Humanity within us. You remind us that the true saviors of AFRIKANS are the very same AFRIKANS. slowly but surely with your initiative more brothers and sisters in the North will be saved. And those in the South shall be woke. This is the time of the real prophets. You are amazing sister. Keep up the good work for not only building Africana in the diaspora financial liberation but also holistic healing that our people deserve after more than 500 years of slavery. May the heavens protect you and your beautiful family until you reach higher lengths of purpose in this time. Stay blessed.

The perception that has been created by certain scholars is that the African way of life is poverty.
If you are someone like me who was born in a village and has been in the City of Joburg for 14 years now, I can strongly say that the way you view poverty in cities is different to village life.
When I grew up, born in 90, we had cows, goats, chicken and fields of self grown food, water was pumped from the ground...no pollution, no meat from feedlots, very little to no harm to the natural environment. All these things are overlooked, and people who write about them tend to have no idea.
