UPDATE: A previous version of this video included some extra digging into a possible source of this Pedro Pascal wrap party photo, and just to avoid bringing any trouble to anyone, we removed that section from this video. We don't do this often, and we only did it here out of abundance of caution to the artists who worked on this film. We kept the main points of this video intact: we still think it's the actor we speculate it is in that original photo. Thanks for your patience!
Were you guys one of the Twitter accounts picking my brain about this?!?! 😂 I agree with the picture but I don’t think the same actor was in the video. It was another Council of Reed member. 838 Reed is dead but that doesn’t mean another John Krasinski Reed doesn’t exist! 😎 (MCU Theory & Scoops are a cultural phenomenon. It’s good for the fanatics and those who care about them.)
remember when he did this for the deadpool and wolverine trailer, and the behind shot of Patch,... He suggested everyone who had been rumoured to be cast as wolverine except Jackman...
This really would be ideal because the 2015 film was taking inspiration from the Ultimate Fantastic Four comics which is where we eventually get The Maker.
I gotta admit, I do get a thrill out of seeing a big reveal in a movie that has been speculated about for a while and being like, "I knew it, I knew it!"
I’d be ecstatic if he’s in the movie - fantastic four movies were an absolute pleasure of mine as a kid and a guilty pleasure as a young adult. Glad we’re moving into the era of it being a celebrated pleasure.
@@UnknownKnownHistorysilver surfer was holy grail for me, was the coolest thing I saw in a super hero film, and then Johnny gaining everyone’s powers - cheesy/convenient as hell as an adult opinion, but gladly nostalgias already built in that I still enjoy it 🤣
To me, knowing who's going to be cameoing in a movie doesn't necessarily decrease my enjoyment of it. It's more like..."ooooo they're going all-in on this one" lol. Kinda like how knowing you'll probably be getting a bike for Christmas, or something similar, doesn't necessarily decrease your enjoyment of running to the tree to open the present on Christmas morning. There will always be additional questions like "ooo what color will it be?" or "ooo what's the seat going to feel like when I sit on it?" and in some cases, it might even increase your enjoyment because the joy is spread out over a longer period of time
Within a movie that has a broader universe, it’s better for me to learn everything about the movie so I can appreciate it as much as the film makers intended. But with a movie that is a one off, I like to go in with no expectations to be stunned or wowed as much as possible
Did you know that there is an actual real band called The Fantastic Four that were active in the 60's? Mordo introduces Reed as leader of the Fantastic Four and then Strange says "Fantastic Four? Didn't you guys chart in the 60's?" He didn't say Fab Four. With his level of musical trivia knowledge, he definitely wouldn't confuse those two bands.
I consider myself a die hard marvel fan and i love the surprise twists and characters. i watch these cause they help me make fun connections and relive the experience.
9:31 For myself, I dont watch anything past the first official trailer for movies I know I'm going to go see. If it's something I'm not sure, I'll watch more. My reason for this: Shang Chi. I watched everything including the extended sequences they put up on RUclips (ie: scaffolding battle) and it took all the fun out of the movie. I could tell what was going to happen and when. I have since discovered I enjoy movies, especially comicbook/pop culture ones, with as little knowledge as possible.
It amazes me channels like this devouring the tiniest of breadcrumbs are still popular when I’ve encountered way too many people online who can’t absorb the information when it’s on a screen directly in front of them.
When I first saw that clip of the crew member hiding the mystery actor on set, Tom Hiddleston came to mind for me. They could switch up from the watcher warning the F4 about Galactus to Loki doing it instead, especially since What If is teasing “The Last Watch” for some reason.
I love when u obsess!!!! This is why I watch u guys. Don't ever apologize for bringing us these beautifully juicy little tidbits. I've been wondering who this is since the pic was posted. I like knowing as much as I can in the movies. I'm blind in 1 eye, so it helps to know what to look for. Thanks.😊
I like leaks and rumors and inside scoops when they confirm my hopes. I feel like we had all started imagining a Kelsey Grammer Beast when we saw Smart Hulk CGIRuffulo. And we go it. Now we're hoping for Counci of Reeds, maybe Miles Teller as the Maker if we're so lucky. And we might get it. RIP Valiant Cinematic Universe.
I've thought about that study every time I watch NR trailer breakdowns. Total mind read to see you bring it up! I think it does give clearance to spoil bigger things, but giving a heads up first would always be appreciated! There are some stories I know I'd prefer not to be spoiled.
I think it's established in Deadpool and Wolverine the void is actually the "trash heap" for the whole multiversal forest not just the 616 tree: It functions like the quantum realm and the realms we saw in Doctor Strange 1 /Ms Marvel /Shang Chi where its accessible via any multiverse in the wider Marvel "Multi-Universe"
I used to think i liked knowing lots of things before going in, but the surprises in Deadpool and Wolverine really debunked that for me. The cameos in that felt really special because i genuinely had no idea they were coming.
There has actually also been alot of evidence pointing towards the mystery figure from the set photos possibly being Tom Hiddleston, especially when you compare the way both the mystery figure and Hiddleston walk
I always watch breakdowns before the movie and it makes me enjoy it more. I know what to look out for and I don't spend the movie looking around feeling like I'm missing something
I don't want to *know* every detail, but I love the insights into what's *possible* and what those possibilities might mean, especially in how they relate to comic lore.
Thank you Eric and the NR team. The marvel movies I definitely enjoy more knowing details before watching. Some movies are better to go in blind but marvel is all about the interconnected universe. Thanks for the work you do.
No way!!! A Multiverse Movie, during the Multiverse Saga? And no way!!!! Chris Evan’s Johnny referenced something the Reed in his movies said? THATS MIND-BLOWING 🤯
Is “Didn’t you guys chart in the 60s?” a Beatles-esque kinda Fab Four reference? I love you all, the best guides through this and countless others! I just thought maybe this one could be simple word play. All the best!
I walk into a movie theater reading the plot summary in wikipedia. Thatcway, when my friend gets confused by what's on the screen, i explain. It's also great to know a scene is foreshadowing, so i know to pay strict attention to it.
Do you think we could see other multiverse variants of Fantastic 4 members in this movie? Maybe a cameo from any of the former actors? Jessica Alba, Michael Chilklis, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan or Jamie Bell
I’m cool knowing a cameo type spoiler, but I don’t want any spoilers when it comes to the story itself. Like Spider-Man No Way Home. We all knew Andrew and Toby were gonna be in it and I was hyped. But I had no idea if it was just a casual Easter egg or what it actually ended up being. That’s the best example
Do we think Marvel might just do a smudge job and use The Void in the place of The Negative Zone? Because setting his sights on The Void makes it seem like they are opening up the potential of mining the Negative Zone based stories for use in the multiverse saga.
I think knowing is better. If the movie is good then it’s good regardless of spoilers. After X-Men Apocalypse I thought it was bc I knew too much of the movie but then I remembered all the Harry Potter movies. So it doesn’t matter
@RialivhuwaTshisikule I just hope they don't rush it. I think they could use doomsday to do all the secret wars set up and this movie as an introduction and good fantastic four story.
The fact its set in an alternate universe, and its in the multiverse saga basically gives it the right to use the council of Reeds, I know what you mean, but we have had multiple F4 films doing the typical F4 stuff, and the bar is pretty low, so I think its gonna be good in comparison to them
A council of Reeds would make me so happy. I think Marvel knows how much we all appreciated the 3 Spideys, so I’m guessing they would want to keep the good vibes going. Fingers crossed!!
I mean. We have been getting the original X-Men cast in a bunch of MCU films lately. Would be awesome if they do the same for the Fantastic Four! Especially if they can pull off a good cgi version of Thing for Chiklis like they did for Beast!
I don't know why but I feel like Miles Teller would be The Maker in the secret wars movie, sort of like a meta commentary of that particular f4 movie not being well received just like how the Ultimate Universe Reed was more of an outcast and eventually took darker actions. Plus he is a a younger looking reed which would fit the maker.
Imagine during the fantastic four movie Showing the counsel of reeds and Wanda scene pops up where invades the Illuminati head quarters and make reed go back to his universe just to get killed
9:35 So yes, I like knowing about cool back stories and stuff, but after knowing now who is speculating to cameo, when it will happen I would be less hyped - because it won’t surprise me

I saw somewhere that someone suggested that Miles Teller's Reed Richards should end up as The Maker, and I am ALL for that
Yes!! He was easily the best part of that movie and definitely could use a second chance and play an amazing villain
Ag(reed)
Say that again.....
I would like to see him as Franklin Richards in a future F4 sequel.
This really would be ideal because the 2015 film was taking inspiration from the Ultimate Fantastic Four comics which is where we eventually get The Maker.
I think the council of reeds is going to be lacking one member because of a certain witch 😬
Idk, that variant has Franklin and Valaria
This is a good theory.
Maybe he will be a bowl of spaghetti. 😂

This is giving me flashbacks to his elaborate Deadpool & Wolverine Taylor Swift conspiracy theory
I truly believe we’re getting a Council of Reeds scene either in this movie or Doomsday or Secret Wars..
I like having a general idea of what’s going to happen. But the Blade and Johnny Storm cameos were absolutely better because I didn’t know.
I damn near fell to my knees when I saw Wesley
Moleman better be in this movie with the amount of mountains this channel has made of molehills with this movie specifically
Well Disney now own the Hans Moleman character after acquiring Fox, so it is possible

Dr. Strange saying his Fantastic Four charting line was (I think) more a reference to the FAB FOUR (aka The Beatles) charting.
It was a double reference - Beatlemania was in the sixties, but the Fantastic Four also debuted in comics in 1961
The Fantastic Four was a R&B group that was formed in the 60's
I read way... back in the day the real strange was trapped in the 60s with the FF4.
True, but the Fantastic Four did debut in the early 60s.
Did you know that there is an actual real band called The Fantastic Four that were active in the 60's?
