This is incredible. I'm so glad I found your channel, these games were my absolute childhood so it's so great to see someone who loves them as much as I
Me: I’m ready to start this essay finally
My brain: 1:27
You've outdone yourself on this one Phil
You know, in the demo it was possible to cast Flipendo on Lockhart's statues. They would give some beans and a witty comment. I wish it wasn't removed.
Yes! It's so funny too his lines are so dumb
@@PhilOfGlimmer Kinda shame that in the final game the statues are just for decor, especially because they were so varied. I can see a puzzle where in order to progress the playes has to cast Alohomora on the one in the room that is not like the others.
Hogwarts has never looked so beautiful
I didn't think you could improve upon perfection
Happy birthday Harry Potter and the chamber of secret!
I downloaded chamber of secrets on my moms pc to celebrate and restart the game for its b-day.
This video is the first thing aliens should see from us.
This video is cursed af. I love it!
It’s not Hogwarts anymore, it’s the Phil Glimmer School of Witchcraft and Beans.
I love it, I am so happy that the old HP games community is alive and well. Maybe in close future someone with rights to these HP games will see our need for a remaster of these games!
This was amazing!!! What a great throwback to the game and the channel. Loved!!
I know
The front-facing Lockhart portrait already looked quite like you to be honest
Oof, looking at your face this many times was EXHAUSTING, Phil!
I'm off to bed, see you later!
This is so incredibly sick, well done my guy
Lmaooo! Did not expect that!
I love all your edits to this wonderful game!
Game Devs in 2002: Just throw this thing out there, we gotta cash in on these movies while we can. I mean, it's not like we have to try. Who is gonna remember these games anyway?
Phil in 2021: 🧐🧐🧐
😂😂 Awesome!
Haaaa so funny 🤣🤣
Phil, what the fuck
How the hell 😂💀
Please tell me how you did this
How did you do it?
I didn't do it one of my followers did, I literally have no idea how!
@@PhilOfGlimmer For the staircase scene I know a lot of the paintings are used multiple times, so I'm guessing they replaced most of the image files for them to a different picture of Glimmer's face, and then every time that painting shows up in game it's actually a picture of Glimmer.
The secret room in Lockhart's challenge though, wow. Was that room even there at all in the game itself? I could be wrong but I don't recall that room being there. If it was made from scratch, that's really impressive.
@@MannyBoy96 It's me, the one who modded this for Phil and our wonderful community. Yes, the portraits were easy and just texture replacements with the help of PS. The secret room in Lockhart's challenge was added by myself, there's nothing there in vanilla. Again, nothing really mind-bending, I just added a basic square room and some magic triggers on the Phil-texture. The game actually has a nice and active modding community and you should see what the modders are capable of: spectacular modded levels with all new areas, content, etc. Really recommend them! I'm just getting my feet wet with modding and doing things like this helps me find my way around the most basic tools in the editor :)
@@RobertoMoreno94 Thank you so much for explaining! That sounds really awesome, I've only seen a little bit of modding stuff with CoS but it seems like a really fun game to mess around with.
@@MannyBoy96 My pleasure. And yes, it's so fun to play all the additional levels. For many years I've been replaying and replaying the game, again and again, never thinking it would give me anything more than I already know. Then I discovered the mods - and playing the better ones felt like rediscovering the game from the ground up. There are custom levels that feel even better than vanilla content- and puzzle-wise.
