Thank you so much for this video. I loved it .... because I just LOVE ISRAEL AND ITS PEOPLE. My husband and I flew to Tel-Aviv in 2013 ... for our wedding anniversary but on Air Canada. Next time, it will be EL-AL.
FINALLY I get to go to Israel I am leaving Thursday oct 17th at 10:30am from JFK to tel aviv I am so glad these videos are making me feel so comfortable and ready to go my first flight on el al and my first trip to Israel I cant wait hehe
Thank you so much for the kind comments and encouraging feedback on the videography. Most especially thanks to HaShem. Without Him all this would not have been possible.
@Brian19XD It is very safe to visit Israel. In fact, I find it to be one of the safest countries in the world. I felt very safe to visit. Of course, do not cross over certain areas they call the green line. For example, I would not go to Hebron. Areas not under Israeli control may not be safe.
Loved it. Video was dark at first then it got just right. !0 Hours, Wow and I live in Cleveland...Albeit I want to visit there once I retire, Keep up the good work.
No, this flight is not from New Jersey. It was from Bangkok. It flies from Bangkok westward past India and then into the Arabian and Red Sea, enters Israel from the southern tip.
@eladzioni5 It is the same as other planes when flying over the sea into Tel Aviv. This is a Boeing 747 so maybe the tilt angle is lower? I don't know.
this video...was amazing i enjoyed every second of it!!! toda raba raba raba!!! i love the way you also filmed when the air hostess and host talked in their smooth voices just after landing. thank you for this amazing video Capara xxxxx oh and welcome back to israel :-D
yes, last year i lived there for a year just for fun and it is veeeerrryy safe. i promise and it was great there. but places with no security not might be but the security is strong there so you willl be fine!
I've only flown on a 747 twice, the first being on an EL AL 747-200 in April 1998 from YYZ-YUL-TLV, and most recently on a KLM 747-400M from YYZ-AMS a month ago (the landing of which I have uploaded). Great to see LY's 744s in action and hopefully I'll fly one of them the next time I head to Israel.
I'll agree, I am a non-Jew and I recently went for a visit to Israel, Gathered I was with my Jewish best friend but I never felt threatened or uncomfortable while i was there. In fact, I am looking forward to my next trip there and I am looking forward to potentially flying with EL Al although idk if I can handle a 12 hour flight from Toronto to Tel Aviv
Is it a bad idea to film on El Al? I'm flying on Tuesday, and I want to film takeoff and landing. Should I do that on an airline with such high security?
@alik12120 Flights coming in from southern Israel make this route. If you know anything about airports, they have a specific route for planes to follow in order to land. You can't just fly any direction you want to the airport.
wow I want so much go to Israel but no money to afford to fly there its so so so beautiful there its makes it a great home for jews I truly support it. I like to watch these flights on here landing there makes me feel I am on that plane I love it
i was in march in israel an it was soooper like turist ,no big problems.......only some rockets in the city where i was but i love to go in israel.i feel safe
Is it a bad idea to film on El Al. I'm flying on Tuesday, and I want to film takeoff and landing. Should I do that on an airline with such high security?
Well, I can assure you that EL AL is the safest airline in the world and the country itself is overall safe. The danger is not what's already there but can be caused by visitors in some places. For example Hebron , As holy as it is don't go there if your non jewish or not orthodox expect to be pelted with stones and rocks and be spat on. Your best bet are the main places were equality is at it's best, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Eilat, Dead Sea, Caesaria and Nazareth. You'll love it trust me !
Nice video! But did you see all that traffic on the highways at 6am? Looks like we here in the USA are not the only people having to drive to work at absurd hours of the morning!
Wow I have flown in to Airport City several times, and you've recreated the landing so perfect :) The only thing lacking is you didn't film the aircraft stopping at the gate and the people on board in a mad rush grabbing there overhead baggage and mobbing to disembark the aircraft
The clapping after the landing is done at most countries I've flown to. It means that the Landing was nice and it's kinda like saying thank you to the pilot.
They seem to use the IVona Speech Voices for the automated passenger announcements about landing, welcoming you to Israel etc. (Joey for English) and I am not sure who is doing the Hebrew voice (if you know or someone does please post). The same English voice can be heard on Communication Devices for individuals with limited or no verbal skills(Dynavox T-10) as well as other text to speech announcements at airports etc. www.ivona.com/ . In the Text to Speech Sample select American Joey and you will see what I mean.
How does EL-Al fliy from South East Asia to Telaviv?? Israel and its arab neighbours and faraway countries like Pakistan/Bangladesh do not have (mostly) no conntact at all...do El-AL fly over Central Asia/Russia and then head down??
my professor always told us that joke about an elderly couple who was afraid to visit israel, and were told "you're right, it's dangerous- the israeli drivers are simly crazy" ;) so yes, it is a very safe country! just drive carefully :D
@Brian19XD Israel is amazing. Go whenever you want! And your best bet is a guided tour with security. It's very safe yes, but it's still the Middle East.
I love flying into Tel Aviv in the morning......so beautiful. I love to watch the sunrise over Israel.
Love Israel ! Love Azerbaijan !
I love Israel
Israel is my home♡:-)
Also mine!

Thank you so much for the kind comments and encouraging feedback on the videography. Most especially thanks to HaShem. Without Him all this would not have been possible.

סרטון מגניב!!!
אין על ה- 747-458 של EL AL
Amazing! I saw exactly the same thing on exactly the same flight (BKK-TLV) more than a month after your flight. :D
i love the smell of kerosene on late approach to TLV in the morning.. it smells like.. victory..
nice video... sunrise over south america from the skies its kinda nice as well.
Can you see Rishon L'Zion Ashdod Ashquelon on the left? Why did the plane go back over the sea before landing?
great video amigo, shalom from EL SALVADOR
Lovely footage. Thank you for sharing this.
I loved that airport when I was there :)
Do flights departing/landing in TLV avoid overflying certain land?
I didn't connect at TLV. My stop at YUL was a short stopover and we weren't released from the plane, as the stop was just to pick up a few passengers.
What a gorgeous sunrise over such a lovely country...Viva Israel!
Beautiful sight. I wish EL AL would fly to Mexico.
How about you fly via LAX?
Agreed ! Such a classic and rare landing into Ben Gurion ! Well done !
HI nice video , can you tell in which seat you were sitting?
beautiful transitions of day! excellent video!
this video...was amazing i enjoyed every second of it!!! toda raba raba raba!!! i love the way you also filmed when the air hostess and host talked in their smooth voices just after landing. thank you for this amazing video Capara xxxxx oh and welcome back to israel :-D
Thank you for the videography feedback. Much appreciated.
Most welcome and glad you liked the video!
Looks like you beat the TLV curfew for the firs morning flight.
yes, last year i lived there for a year just for fun and it is veeeerrryy safe. i promise and it was great there. but places with no security not might be but the security is strong there so you willl be fine!
BEN GURION AIRPORT IS SO BEAUTIFULL AT THIS MOMENTS
@Tekhelet75 which time it turn on?
I remember landing in Brisbane, with the sky and weather exactly like this, in a Qantas 747-400
@shmuck50
vancouver is by seatle my friend, it takes aproxamatley 5-6 hrs to fly from there to nyc alone. another 10 hrs from nyc
I've only flown on a 747 twice, the first being on an EL AL 747-200 in April 1998 from YYZ-YUL-TLV, and most recently on a KLM 747-400M from YYZ-AMS a month ago (the landing of which I have uploaded). Very nice Video, about an very nice and interesting Airline :)
Beautiful video...
beautiful! the landing was great and so is the scenery. i hear its beautiful there right? do u know from where you came from on this flight?
Were you circling the airport because it was too early to acomodate your flight?
I'll agree, I am a non-Jew and I recently went for a visit to Israel, Gathered I was with my Jewish best friend but I never felt threatened or uncomfortable while i was there. In fact, I am looking forward to my next trip there and I am looking forward to potentially flying with EL Al although idk if I can handle a 12 hour flight from Toronto to Tel Aviv
Did you see the towns of Ashquelon, Ashdod, Rishon L "Zion, R'Anana on the Airshow Map?
beautiful sunrise
I agree. This sure brought back memories of my flights there :)
Is it a bad idea to film on El Al? I'm flying on Tuesday, and I want to film takeoff and landing. Should I do that on an airline with such high security?
dont worry how did it go for u
Thank you for the encouraging comment. :)
@itaytsin Thank you. It was the 747-400 range of EL AL Boeing plane. Rather old plane. Their 777's are much nicer.
It's a tradition, particularly in Israel. It does happen in other countries as well.
@alik12120 Flights coming in from southern Israel make this route. If you know anything about airports, they have a specific route for planes to follow in order to land. You can't just fly any direction you want to the airport.
This just showed in my you tube feed today. Debbie
wow I want so much go to Israel but no money to afford to fly there its so so so beautiful there its makes it a great home for jews I truly support it. I like to watch these flights on here landing there makes me feel I am on that plane I love it
I am hoping to return soon and taking a friend who has never been to Israel. Wishing for peace in the Middle East.
I only arrived at night once, during my most recent trip there. I did takeoff from TLV at night on two occasions though.
Where this flight came from, Bangkok, Bombay?
Thank you for informing me...it enters Israeli airspace then from Aqaba/Eilat???
i was in march in israel an it was soooper like turist ,no big problems.......only some rockets in the city where i was but i love to go in israel.i feel safe
this video...was amazing i enjoyed every second of it!!! tod
Is it a bad idea to film on El Al. I'm flying on Tuesday, and I want to film takeoff and landing. Should I do that on an airline with such high security?
where did it come from - the US or Canada?
Well, I can assure you that EL AL is the safest airline in the world and the country itself is overall safe. The danger is not what's already there but can be caused by visitors in some places. For example Hebron , As holy as it is don't go there if your non jewish or not orthodox expect to be pelted with stones and rocks and be spat on. סרטון מדהים כל הכבוד על ההשקעה
Nice video! But did you see all that traffic on the highways at 6am? Looks like we here in the USA are not the only people having to drive to work at absurd hours of the morning!

it's El Al Flight LY0028 EWR-TLV, .not Flight LY0004 out of New York (JFK). Out of EWR to Tel Aviv took 11 hours and 40 minutes.
I guess...from 4PM BKK time. I don't remember what time.
I am taking the United 777 SFO-TLV flight at the end of July 14 hours 40 minutes!
Where is navigation light ?
@B737Man You have to watch the whole video. It gets light later on.
NICE WAHT WAS THE PLANE NAME 4X-ELA OR 4X0ELB OR 4X-ELC OR 4X-ELD nice landing waht gate did you go to

@alik12120 Toda raba! It was worth it to see the morning view in Israel!
@ThePilotBuddy As stated in the details, this flight came from Bangkok.
i live in israel and i can promise you that it's vey safe for non-jews we kind of adore them
The 777's are nicer to fly in for me! :) But yeah the 744's are rare these days!
are you from israel? i'm german but i live in egypt and i want to visit israel
..wierd way to the airport can u give me a reason why this way?
Welcome to NRT 2020
What was the point of clapping?
The clapping after the landing is done at most countries I've flown to. It means that the Landing was nice and it's kinda like saying thank you to the pilot.
BTW the Automated English message before landing is the same voice as United. They use Microsoft Sam
They seem to use the IVona Speech Voices for the automated passenger announcements about landing, welcoming you to Israel etc. (Joey for English) and I am not sure who is doing the Hebrew voice (if you know or someone does please post). Many years ago El Al would play Hatikvah and everyone would clap. I believe they clap because they arrived safe in a sacred land.
Beauty!
@shmuck50 This was from Bangkok to Tel Aviv.
BS"D Thank you for sharing this with me!
How does EL-Al fliy from South East Asia to Telaviv?? Israel and its arab neighbours and faraway countries like Pakistan/Bangladesh do not have (mostly) no conntact at all...do El-AL fly over Central Asia/Russia and then head down??
"Come fly El Al" :)
my professor always told us that joke about an elderly couple who was afraid to visit israel, and were told "you're right, it's dangerous- the israeli drivers are simly crazy" ;) so yes, it is a very safe country! just drive carefully :D
@Brian19XD Israel is amazing. Go whenever you want! And your best bet is a guided tour with security. It's very safe yes, but it's still the Middle East.
Weird sounding cabin "ding" sounds short and quiet,
