    Simply amazing, I have a question. Where I can find the timing gear case sub assembly or oil pump for a 1978 diesel 4 cilinder engine 2B.

    Is the liner you used is finish? Is it not prone to blowby?

    Injection pump looks different to what I'm used to... In europe we got 4 in-line cylinder diesel pumps.

      Bought all me parts and bearings through Supercheap. But would be able to get em through any parts shop.

    What head gasket did you run??

      Cheers mate, just ran the head gasket that came in the permaseal gasket pack, nothing special as it’s probably going to be kept N/A...

      @@FULLBOAR No over heating problems with that gasket? I know some ppl are saying it may block off cooling ports.

      Not sure as of yet. When I was assembling it, I didn’t notice any of the water jackets being blocked or partially blocked. However when the motor is back in the car I will definitely keep an eye on the temps. Cheers for the heads up.
