So, I’m really not a huge fan of anything Kardashian, but my heart is surprisingly warmed by how much Kim cares about her mom. It reminds me of when my own mom had cancer surgery. I got high marks from her, her doctors, and her fellow cancer patient friends for being an excellent support person, and it is among my proudest achievements in life. 💗 My mom is doing great now and at age 62 has like 5x as much energy as 30 year old me…no clue how she does it but I’m happy for her!
I believe a problem arises, which might fuel their surgery addiction. Probably feels really nice to get a lot of care and attention, but she might need it outside of a hospital bed too :/ could cause her to want more surgery for the love and care that she needs...
Great to hear. I did the same with my Mum and it makes all the difference in the world to their mental health and recovery. I watched many cancer patients spend days alone with nobody, they just gave up.
Glad your Mom is doing well, when anything has happened with my Mom I've been there too, these last few years have been extremely difficult, and not just for myself but but for everyone, but to me it's just natural to be there for Mom I couldn't understand not.

Dr Youn is the best plastic surgeon i’be ever seen. He is so honest, humble and very caring too. I really will only look up for Youn if I ever need plastic surgery. But for now I’m still happy with who I am 😉
I have a friend, whose husband, while they were at the cosmetic surgeon's office about a rhinoplasty for her, started asking the surgeon about breast implants for her. She has an hourglass figure! They fought in the doctor's office, on the way home, that night, and on and off until her rhinoplasty. They were divorced within two years. I was surprised it took them that long. I am glad my mother wasn't vain. She was lovely and aged gracefully. She never coloured her hair, even when she started graying quite noticeably in her early forties. Used very little makeup. Allowed herself to be who she was. I don't mean she didn't take care of her appearance, but she didn't understand the idea of wanting to be "youthful" forever. Best thing she ever told me? As a teen, I was very shy and very depressed. After a particularly bad day, she said to me, "If anyone tells you these are the best years of your life, don't believe them. They are either lying to you or themselves."
I always said since the first season of the of their show that they were going to become addicted to plastic surgery and that will possibly do irreversible damage. It’s all a lesson to all of us , sad.
When I had my eyelids done, I wasn’t afraid of not waking up… actually, I was thrilled to try anesthesia. I have insomnia and my cousin is an anesthetist, she told me enough to kill my fear (if I had any). She gave us a lecture when my mom about to go under spinal surgery so I wanted to know that is it really like she said that the doctor count 1-5 and then you’re out, woke up when all is done. It was amazing for me, best sleep in 3 years 😂😂😂
Wait till you have to have another type of procedure. It’s true you count backwards from 10. You don’t realize that you’ve only counted to seven and you’re out. When I woke, I accuse them of not doing the procedure. I swear it seemed like a nanosecond.

I admit, I have never watched their show or followed them on social media. I don’t keep up with the Kardashian/Jenner clan. But from an outside perspective, I feel badly for any child who has to grow up with an image obsessed mother. I’m sure they tell their kids, “You’re perfect the way you are,” but actions speak so much louder than words. These women all look like they’ve had head transplants and they get work done all the time, like it’s never good enough. That speaks volumes to children.

I think my doctors really got ahead of my mom asking some scary questions before my heart and back surgery, where they went though all of the possible complications like half of an hour before, and reassured us that everything is going to be fine. Which I think really helped
I’d tell you do not do it. It’s not worth it. It pulls your face forever and you feel it pulling like a crown of pain, after 2 years it hurts less but it just never stopped the pressure of have your face pulled back. Plus it’s so many hours, it can give you a heart attack, which I almost got. Please don’t do it. Do face yoga, supplements or whatever else that is not this facelift surgery.

I have Factor Five Leiden and had a PE while pregnant. It took 8 hours for the doctors at the hospital to realize I had a blood clot in my lung, even thought I was under respiratory distress. I could have died. But I never had any issues with surgeries, and I’ve had many surgeries.
I've gone under anesthia 26 times and it never went badly. 25 were for ECT(electroconvulsive therapy... shock therapy) and the other was a jaw surgery I had as a teen that was partially cosmetic and partially neccessary.
Oh my, I had that when I was in my 20’s. It never occurred to me that it would have some effect 50 years later. Do you mind telling me of problems you might have from that?
I agree she looks amazing however I agree with you I never watch them I cannot handle they're unrealistic beauty standards and the way that they believe that they are entitled. I have had plastic surgery on more than one occasion and my advice for anyone is make sure you do the research on the physician and make sure you do the research on the procedure. I absolutely love this dr. So if you are thinking of plastic surgery go watch his videos his knowledge and the way he explains things in layman's terms you honestly should have no problem understanding. I don't find it odd that they were modelling at that time. Their mom is not going through surgery for herself and her looks and it's not like she was having health issues and thus have to go through it. You are showing your kids what's important so what can you expect in return?
I've never had plastic surgery and I have a mindset that if I am old so will my body be... but I've had surgery on my wrist and I was very nervous about anastasia but all I could remember was counting backwards to 10 and then I woke up my arm feeling like jelly and numb and when I was moved to recovery having to go to the toilet I smacked my arm as I didn't have any movement 😅 luckily my arm was ok just had to wrap it over my shoulder until I got my movement back next day I was discharged my operation was an O.R.I.F and it was a day surgery release

I nearly fell on the floor when the anesthesiologist said, "Good to see you again" to Kim. What?! When would he have seen Kim? I think Kim has had "procedures" done in the past. Not as invasive as a facelift, but Kim has definitely had some work done that has been more than laser work. Kim's kindness towards her mom was very sweet and endearing. However, I think there was also some empathy bc Kim knows in 20 years she just might be in that bed.

I nearly fell on the floor when the anesthesiologist said, "Good to see you again" to Kim. What?! When would he have seen Kim? I think Kim has had "procedures" done in the past. Not as invasive as a facelift, but Kim has definitely had some work done that has been more than laser work. Kim's kindness towards her mom was very sweet and endearing. However, I think there was also some empathy bc Kim knows in 20 years she just might be in that bed.
